Always good for transfers that people know how much cash you have to spend ?!?!?!? Meaning what exactly. I don't think True faith want Ashley to say he has x amount of money to spend, but I do think its unfair to lead the fans into believing that significant amounts will be there to strengthen the squad which then never materialises. Ashley should either say, ok I am going to back the manager financially in the way he needs to take the club forward, or say We need to sell players to buy players. The truth would be nice! He said there was money for players and by the sounds of things there was we just didn't get them.

There were problems with the site this morning which are hopefully fixed so it shouldn't go down, might go slow though when it fills up -

people have the right to choose how to show support if they want too. If i want to clap him to show support, then thats ill do, i wouldnt expect people to be unhappy with me. Just like i wont be unhappy with people who choose not to clap him or who boo him, it personal choice. Personally, i think he's done the time, he's gonna get another ban no doubt, we should move on with life. If he messes up again, then thats it. Until then he's a Newcastle player, so ill support him. I could probably even cope if he got the usual applause the problem is he won't he'll get the full hero worship loud cheer cause people will know others are booing so it'll be extra loud and he does not deserve that ever. Did you not think that when he first came cause most people did say stuff like he's a troubled past but he's at us now if he messes up again we should get shot ? As for doing the time, he hasn't he's on a two year suspended sentance, he got off basically.

The guy deserves no praise or support from our club. He signed for us just after the training ground incident at man city and said he was a changed man and would do everything he could for Newcastle. He came in played shite, got dropped went off on a bender and beat the shit out of someone. So he lied to the club, he lied to the fans and showed what a piece of turd he really is. I will be happy if he gets booed, I will be happy if he doesn't, but if he gets applauded as though he is a hero just as a way to show "support" for this thug I will be massivly unhappy with the Newcastle fans who do it. Keegan made the wrong decision wanting him to stay. I will never ever support this man, hopefully soon enough he'll hit the wrong bloke and won't ever return to football. Hell let the FA ban him for life I'll be happy.

Hope so, hence the problem with the fans again, we know nothing yet speculate as bad as the papers that there are problems

Most rather than some I would say. Maybe thats a biased view from posters on these forums though. That's like blaming customers of M&S for a fall in their profits, rather than looking at the decision makers at board level at M&S. You don't often get customers in M&S booing your staff when they don't get what they want and don't agree with top level management then forcing the hand of the chairman though do you ? No - that happens at AGMs when major shareholders(and minor ones)make their views crystal clear to the Directors ; failure to improve things means a falling share price, and the sack for those responsible ... M & S fired their Food Div manager this year becauseof falling sales - its the same thing basically. Yes but unfortuantly in the past our board has listened to our fans far to much. Not sure about the new board yet, hopefully they ignore the fans when it comes to stuff on the pitch and listen to the manager.

Good few year back. He'd been injured and didn't get his spot back and so handed in a transfer request. Fans weren't best pleased he got a bit of booing, said he made a mistake got on with it and all was forgiven.
