I find it incredible that you cite the match against Charlton and use that particular match to get at Bellamy. That was the match after which souness should have been sacked because that was the match he sacrificed 3 valuable points to feed his ego. He put his ego ahead of the best interests of the club. A lot of truth in that post - but I think that with John Madejeski running things everyone knows where they stand - there is NO MONEY for anyone - hell, their top player is on less than £ 25 a week and their transfer budget is next to nowt On the other hand according to todays Indie Reading's players have averaged 151 games each for the club - only ManU (225) and Liverpool ( 165) have a more experienced squad at the club - we come 5th on 146 - so they benifit from a very strong team ethic - Fulham's palyers average 80 games with the club

In fairness to the old git, this isn't actually true. Slipped into debt last season to the tune of 12m, which is not really a whole heap of debt to be in. On the wider point of finding a RA style buyer (which, let's face it, isn't going to happen, he's a one-off) then FS could be proactive in finding a buyer and appoint someone to help. Ellis appointed Rothschilds, who did all the initial talking to interested parties, checked the status of bidders etc, and whittled them down to the 5 bids that got through to Ellis. If FS really was interested in selling to a decent buyer, this would seem like the thing to do. But THEY aren't geordies - they'd want paying for a start
