Sad day.... I can remember watching him a lot Not the most skilfull or fastest player but worked his bollocks off - tracked back - which was odd in those days - and had a wicked shot
-
TBF the Beeb Radio Athletics is even worse - they have soem mad lass who was once some third rate athlete and she raves on about how well Jim X has done to come 8th out of 8 - must run their trade union..............
-
Anyone hear him last night? Complete idiot and went ballistic when someone said they'd seen him buy 7 pairs of trainers at one time............. the only good thing is he reminds of the intellectual capacity of the average footballer I guess
-
agreed - breaks up the "big 4" and that will put real pressure on someone's budget for 2011-12 also gets right up the nose of Manure fans
-
the Villans I know are totally p******* off with MON - FFS - waiting until the season starts to jump................

Fully agree. pity he was a pratt -
you larn sommat new on this forum every day

lets see - they only look at PL players and there are no English players overseas so that's 19X 20 = 380 first team squad in total say 50% are English = 190 possibles take away the idiots, thugs and proven losers = 150 left 30-40 are probably too old for the next world cup so you have 100-110 to chose from - not brilliant but even so...............
-
beat the hell out of the TV pundits... but then he's got a brain and they're ex-footballers
-
mebe we could hire him to pick the team next season? More charisma than Hughton, less slithery than the owner, fewer tentacles in deals than Lambias
-
and Jormany to beat Uruguay You have to say he's better than all the TV pundits rolled together O0
-
it's the Board - not the thread dear boy

Al Fayed will not be pumping the funds from the sale of Harrods into Fulham, in fact he has said he will be looking to sell Fulham in the next few years. he loves the attention - saw him last season after the Chelski game there - surrounded by lovelies, coat over his shoulder, walking through the bar beside the river - just loving it with the cash from Harrods he doesn't need to sell Fulham
-
well he at least looked like he cared
-
liverpool can't do lunacy like we can
-
nonsense - he stayed at SJP for years and was often the only thing that kept us in teh game eventually even he could see it was a waste of time and he upped and went
-
This is one time I hate being proved right TBF I think Rooney cared (and I think James was the only other one who did last night) he was just not sharp nor fully fit and when England fell back on the long ball from the back he just disappeared
