Is this becoming a bit of a misconception about Rafa? Towards the end of his last season we looked awesome and very entertaining. Just because he kept things tight against the better teams whilst he had shite players at his disposal doesn't mean he doesn't like to play attacking football.

One of my mates follows City and I've been having this debate with him for ages. It's mental - Kane was available, Man City have unlimited funds, just buy him, win everything. I think they've got it in their heads that they'll have Haaland next season so why bother with Kane.

We've gone from a manager who makes average players look class to a manager who makes class players look awful. I suspect Longstaff is in the middle of "average" and "class" somewhere.

It's what I saw and I mentioned it a number of times in the match thread. It's not the "up and down" as such, it's when there's a ball near him and he ignores it. Happens loads of times (but never did under Rafa, which is why I alluded to the fact that he's lazy)

Sean just looks to either have no athleticism or he's a lazy fucker. Either than or he's incredibly unfit. I've got nothing against his technical game but it's infuriating watching him ignore a ball 4 yards away from him as it looks a bit too far to run for it.
