  1. Calling someone selfish for going to a football match is absolutely pathetic Not pathetic in the slightest. People are trying to organise a boycott for the Arsenal game and people can’t even get behind that for one game. That is pretty selfish don’t you think? As in YOU won’t boycott one game because YOU want to go to the game. People always have to make hard choices, not being prepared to test it for one game seems incredibly selfish. So its just for one game is it? What the f***s that going to do like? we boycott one game and Ashley sells the club suddenly? Nah You do realise you boycotting will propably create a negative impact on the team against Arsenal don't you? If anything that's selfish.... The boycott is recommended for all things NUFC until he buggers off. For those that won't flat out boycott NUFC, the hope is that they will at least boycott the Arsenal match to send some sort of message to Ashley and the TV audience. You're worrying about the effects of the boycott on a largely inconsequential result in the grand scheme of things. The players should know that none of this is directed at them (except Colback, he can take all the flack that's ever thrown at him, the s**** little turncoat). If, for example, 30,000 boycotted () and you were then in the minority in turning up, would you reconsider your position? I'm sorry but I don't think even if 30,000 boycotted that Ashley would sell Like I've said numerous times man, if I thought not turning up would get rid of him I wouldn't go. I'm not letting one man ruin, supporting my football club. You don't think 30,000 boycotting would, at the very least, have him sweating and instantly pulling some bullshit PR stunt? A sustained boycott would almost certainly have him closer to the exit door imo. Hasn't he already ruined your football club? Because from my point of view it's no longer ours. Any faint glimmer of hope that it was still ours left with Rafa. Bruce is simply confirmation of that sad fact. If 30k boycotted, he wouldn't be happy no, it would be lack of revenue. But no I don't believe it would push him out of the door He wants 350m doesn't he? If no one is willing to pay that, with the clauses he would want included too, then he's not going to leave then is he? So make him sell. Put him in a position where he needs to get out. Lower his asking price. The first part of that is a boycott. Devalue his asset. It is the only way.
  2. Very strange that one Not really. He's not good enough in the Premier League, tears it up in the Championship.
  3. Painting the ground as we speak actually ? Still s**** , You'll never know man, nee f***er goes to games on here A lot of us used to but most have seen the light. Took me longer than most but no more money for Mike Ashley's companies work team. It's the only way.
  4. You seem to forget that Shelvey was a regular under Rafa when fit until the second half of last season. Not that long ago, Rafa and most of our fans were calling for him to be in the England squad and taken to the World Cup in Russia.
  5. His ball in the move for the Sorensen chance was unreal as well but you just don't get time and space on the ball like that in an actual Premier League game very often.
  6. Are they? Where? HTT and Tron, last page. Hmm just had a read. Not quite fully sympathising but for HTT to call him a snake and then an okay bloke doesn't really make sense. This is a bloke that has managed Birmingham City and Aston Villa, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland and Newcastle United. He doesn't know the meaning of the word loyalty and is as selfish as they come. If anything the way he talks and handles himself in the media is far more disingenuous and snake like than Pardew as at least he came across slimy, arrogant and dishonest whereas Bruce clearly charms the media et al and has a lot of them in his pocket but is more than happy to screw anyone over behind their back.
  7. "At one of his previous clubs, Bruce added an edge to five-a-side games when the winning team would choose the worst player from the losing team who had to bring a reward to the training ground a week later. If that was not bad enough, the same player had to then train in a bib that his team-mates had scribbled insults on. (CK)"
  8. He hasn't. Doesn't mean he won't.

    Joelinton

Apparently trying to do it in instalments but with them timed to payments we will receive from Leicester for Perez, with anything over that value based on performance, European qualification () etc.
  10. That was just a comment piece stating it's something he's done at previous clubs.

    Transfer rumours

Hardly research (just fact checked as I was sure he would have hardly played that year), surely everyone can remember second half of that awful relegation season Carroll broke into the first team and scored a few goals and then was a regular 2009/10 season in the Championship.

    Transfer rumours

2009 he was very much part of the first team squad, which I would have expected you to remember.

    Transfer rumours

    Easily avoided. Don't post shite.

    Transfer rumours

Carroll didn't really play in the reserves in 2009 (one appearance).
  15. He must be in his 40s by now so I presume there is another one?
  16. No he didn't. He said he personally prefers a manager who's style it is to talk to his players rather than Rafa's more clinical style, but said Rafa was brilliant for him. You've managed to disagree and agree with me at the same time, nice work Greggers No. You stated he said he prefers playing for Bruce than Benitez. He quite categorically did not say that. He commented on management styles, not which manager he prefers to play under. I mean he's been working with Bruce for a matter of hours. You've done it again ? make your mind up ? I can only presume you don't understand that preferring a certain man management style doesn't = prefer playing for Bruce over Rafa. Bruce hasn't even taken control of a match yet.

  19. Ball watching is not a good trait. No idea what he's doing as not seen the clip but not necessarily a problem that he isn't looking at the ball.
  20. Yes - we (NUST) launched a campaign for exactly this earlier this year. See: https://nufctrust.co.uk/loyalty-points/ See text below. At the end of January hundreds of loyal Newcastle United supporters took the decision to end their relationship with their football club in the form of cancelling direct debits which pays for the season ticket. Thousands of others have been forced into this decision over the years because of decisions made by the owner of the club. Currently Newcastle United operates without transparency. Communication from the owner and the Managing Director is negligible and very few fans feel confident in the future of the club under its current owner. At the Newcastle United Trust we remain open to working with Newcastle United to become a community orientated football club which is run in the interests of supporters, not the owner or his other business interests. We would like to begin dialogue with the club and aid the people running it as much as we can. The club to date has shown no interest in working with us, but we remain hopeful that should the club be sold in the near or distant future that new owners would be keen to engage with the Supporters Trust and its members for the good of Newcastle United and its supporters. With this in mind the newly installed Supporters Trust board would urge fans who have cancelled season tickets to send proof of loyalty points to the Supporters Trust. In the event that the club was sold the Supporters Trust will lobby the new ownership to reinstate loyalty points of fans willing to return to the club. While there are no guarantees of new owners in the near future for any football club, it would be hoped that the loyalty of supporters would be recognised by a new owner willing to communicate with the fan base for the good of the football club.

    St James' Park

It's just the entrance that's known as that and has been for years to differentiate between this old entrance and the newer glass entrance opposite which is the main reception / entrance point.
  22. lowest attendance for opening home game of the seaon for how many years? It will creep up. 43,546 there against Aston Villa in 2010 in the PL. Season before 36,944 against Reading in the Champ.
