  1. We're not playing attacking football. It's just PR rehortic he's been told to spin in the media to try and rubbish Rafa. His tactics are shite because he's incompetent and on record as saying he doesn't believe in tactics.
  2. We really needed an improvement in this area, Ritchie would be horrific and Hayden never more than a filler in this role. We needed an updrade on Yedlin and Manquillo and appear to have bought someone in the same bracket ability wise. So yes, pointless.
  3. What does that even mean? ‘Caught up in their first game’. What a c***. Off all the things he said, while it's a shite excause, it's pretty obvious what he means in relation to the crowd and them being up for it etc. in their first game back in the Premier League after promotion. Shite excuse mind, we were horrific from the first minute.
  4. Here we are: https://nufctrust.co.uk/2019/08/05/nufc-trust-membership-survey-results/ Only 686 out of 4806 are against the idea of a total boycott. The only way they're acting on it is to 'hopefully discuss the results with the club'. Glad I saved that quid, like. People clearly don't read their emails, or listen to what's being said. Which is clearly a problem so need to improve that. People with agenda love kicking people for trying to do something mind. Of the NUST board I think over half boycotted Arsenal, would have to double check the exact figure but certainly close to 50/50. NUST is not a protest group, it doesn't need to tell someone to boycott. You've got loads of other groups already doing that. We are working on a much bigger, long term plan in terms of trying to do something meaningful on fan / supporter ownership but it has to be spot on before we can launch. Talking a lot at the moment with other clubs that have achieved this but also working on other aspects of the plan with lawyers etc. If it's harlf arsed and not done properly it will definately fail so need to get it right and that takes some time. Other things we've done - currently trying to block the Strawberry Place development, have met with the developers and are working with lawyers we've engaged on strategies to stop this. Lots of other stuff going on as well. People very quick to put the boot in and make judegemental statements above without really knowing what's going on. Obviously communication needs to improve as people seem to just hang on to the odd word or statement here or there. As for the survey, we were clear on what it was for at the outset - and it's not just to talk to the club about it but many people are too blinkered to see the bigger picture, the survey is very useful and backed up by a strong member base which makes out voice stronger whoever we talk to, be it the club, Premier League, the FA etc. Do you want it to just become another TMG, or do the same as AO? There's no point in that because those already exist. Trying to do things a little differently and to be ina position where we have the means and backers to go out and do something significant. This all takes time. Too easy to be just a shouting shop but hey that jusy appeases the angries on twitter. Elections to the board later this year.
  5. Shelvey was injured. Bench selection was shambolic yes.
  6. Two in London, two in Copenhagen and two in Bilbao.

    Transfer rumours

They will give him the odd one as long as they're cheap or free I reckon.
  9. He was born in the midlands and grew up in the home counties.
  10. What the hell is a 'tide pod'? Edit: Google tells me they are liquitabs.

I wouldn't say he's horrendous, he's far worse than he is on the left for sure but still prefer him there than Clark or Dummett but it would make us far weaker as a unit you are right - hence I agreed it would be useful to have a cover that can play on the right. Dummett can cover the left so get rid of Clark and bring in a young defender that can play on the right of a three.

We're never going to have a squad with 6 good enough centre backs, the cover for Schar in the 3 would be Lejeune moving over and one of the others playing on the left. Problems when both are injured so agree it would be good to have a back up that is comfortable on either side.

He didnt want to come. Wanted to stay and get more experienced and mature as a player before going to the premier league. Apparently a year mainly on the bench has changed his mind! Looks like a great deal potentially. Read on a couple of forums he would suit a wing back role so we shall see. Wages yet to be met apparently. Weird as that is usually the first thing roughly sorted (albeit somewhat illegally). Cant see Dummett leaving. We need two natural left backs. I think he’d be better suited in a back 3. I don’t think his delivery will ever be at the level you would want for a wing back. The player he reminds me of most is Eric Abidal. How many of his 16 games of professional football have you watched in full?

He's only played 16 games of professional football in his career, likely to be plenty of room for improvement and adaptation to a slightly different position under an excellent coach. Unfortunately we have Steve Bruce.
  15. He's done that with almost all of the squad as part of his evaluation process.
  16. Spit and player profile. Club wanted Joelinton in January but Rafa said no as per his final say clause. You are barking up the wrong tree here. Jorelinton has nowt to do with season ticket sales. As I said, club wanted him January, some fantasy they think they can flip him for a profit in a few seasons. Total distraction from the point here about Seymour not understanding that going to the games is directly funding and legitimising Mike Ashley.
  17. Joelinton is nothing but an almost like for like (spending wise) replacement for Perez. Ashley knows he needs some investment (and prices have gone crazy) to try and keep his Sports Direct advertisement football team in 17th place. No ambition for more than that - just enough to keep the global free advertising for his brand of shops. Joelinton has nothing to do with season ticket sales, total distraction from the point in this thread as Yorkie said.
