No more goals please.

Great finish that.
-
In terms of the overall record in the history books etc., it does go down as a draw.
-
Long term, it will and it damages the image and reputation of the club and the Premier League. For a few games, little impact, has to be sustained over a period of time, going down and down. It will be very interesting when the long term deals end.

Shame you couldn't muster the courage to make a stand for the club you claim to support. I hope it comes in the future. Attendance = Acceptance For your information, not that it’s any of your business, I was there in a corporate box with work entertaining clients. In future, keep your f***ing nose out of other people’s business and decisions. Ta. ? Arguably even worse.

MoTD seemed to be intimating he didn't blow? Clearly could hear a whistle though.....
-
I watched a mere trickle at the time.

Watford players arm. See VAR thread. Beat you to it. Not wrong btw, it didn't touch Hayden arm, it did touch the Watford arm. Just also hit Hayden's hand.
-
Didn't touch his hand/arm, hit the defenders hand. Hayden's left arm was under the defenders arm in his armpit. Take this back. Clearly hit his hand. VAR is a total joke.
-
It's the same as last season, supposed to be 3-4-3 going forward and 5-4-1 when defending. Do a lot more defending against better sides.
-
Not much wrong with that. We played very well against Leicester? And he was very pleased with today?
-
Scotland's great hope.

Just seen it. That's a leg / ankle breaker. What the fuck.

Brewcie just on. Their goal was lucky, took us a while to get going. Was delighted with our response. Missed a lot of glorious chances. Created great chances didn't take them. Delighted with the team as he always has apart from Norwich, players are buying into what he wants to do. We played very well against Leicester and he was very pleased today.

It's insane. They are basically only looking for handballs that lead to goals.
-
He had plenty of time to get into position for a first time finish there, shouldn't have been looking to take a touch.
-
The very best, but yes I agree. Just trying to point out Schar isn’t one of the best defenders in world football which at times some of our fans seem to think he is.
-
Lovely move.

Not really. He's been around the 'scence' for a while. Doing well though, good on him. Premier league scene I meant. Although to be fair, his goals have come against Norwich and Sheffield Utd, so still Championshipish teams really. This must be what? Close to his 40th Premier League game?

I really do adore Schar mind, but if he was as good as some make out he wouldn’t be here and would have been away in the summer gone.

He's not very good at defending, which is brilliant because if he was he certainly wouldn't be here. Schar is a good defender. Very good at times, in fact. He really isn't. He is good at aggresive interceptions at that is about it, he gets caught out of position a lot but gets away with it in our three man set up with relatively deep wing backs making a 5 when defending. Wouldn't have him anywhere near my team in a back four. Great on the ball, lovely passing range. Decent finisher. He's not very good at defending, which is brilliant because if he was he certainly wouldn't be here. Schar is a good defender. Very good at times, in fact. He's not at all. If he was he'd be at a very top club I completely disagree. Superb defensively just 1 week ago. Some great challenges. Last ditch tackles and blocks are not the sign of a good defender. The best defenders don't tackle at all really. They don't need to. This. Never saw woodgate making them But the likes of Terry, Vidic and Cannavaro do. Occasionally, and you remember them more. Not all the time. The best players are great at them, but rarely need to do them.

The best defenders don't tackle at all really. They don't need to. We'll have to disagree then. I don't think Schar is all last ditch. He reads the game well, intercepts play, strong in the air & can challenge. No way is he a poor defender. Not all last ditch, he's still a decent defender but if he had it all he wouldn't play for Newcastle United. His biggest weakness is his positioning, gets caught out a lot.
