The multiple different managers and coaches probably havent helped either. I know that doesnt absolve him completely but consitency in the coaching and management would have helped some probably the reason milner aswell then,taylor also,and duff as he was a good player till he came here. According to a colleague of mine who is a Chelsea season ticket holder and has been for some time he lost it following a series of hamstring injuries and then a dislocated shoulder on boxing day a few years ago and never really fully recovered from those injuries. so was he a good player before those injuries ? I would guess that the Milner money, Sky money and season ticket money is filling some of the void left over fron the £240 million that he's spent. £240 million? Reasonably but that is something that can come with age and development. You can be consistently average but if you don't have talent you'll not make the step up. Big year for him, hopefully is over his injuries and can stay injury free for the rest of the season. In what way do you think he is Carroll MKII?
