  1. Parker can't be much of a Spurs fan, turned them down to sign for us.
  2. Ha ha! Ive never thought of that before, its like an drugs councillor being off his head on crack! He is a physiotherapist, not a fitness coach or a dietitian.
  3. Nicky Hunt plays for Bolton, he must have got them mixed up.
  4. Chris Amstrong, currently left back/left midfield for Sheffield United, went to Gosforth High School. GK - Steve Simonsen RB - Brian Laws LB - Chris Amstrong CB - Steve Bruce CB - Jack Charlton RW - Bobby Robson CM - Bryan Robsom AM - Bobby Charlton LW - Chris Waddle CF - Peter Beardsley CF - Alan Shearer Subs so far: Norman Hunter,Brian Little, Michael Carrick. Not a bad line up. Do you a team made of players who are from Newcastle supporting area's who came through NUFC youth system could match it Gazza not good enough to get into the team??? Think he should be fitted in somewhere! Again, read the first post in the thread!!!!
  5. or Alan Kennedy, or kenny Wharton, Wes Saunders ..... Or you could have read the first post in the thread and realised why non of the players you mentioned were included. True. There are no decent left backs I could think of though, which spoiled it a bit. Waddle didn't play for the youth team mind, but Newcastle were his first club. We were his first pro club aye, but we paid a fee for him when we signed him from Tow Law Town so he didn't come through at NUFC.

  8. Of the bottom 8 teams only two of them have been beaten at St James' Park. Not good enough.
  9. Two draws with Arsenal depsite our injuries. An away defeat which he got totally wrong and a battling home draw with Man Ure. Narrow defeat to Chelsea and a well deserved draw. Defeat and Win to Champions League semi finalist. All against Top Class Managers, with top class tactical knowledge, all attained with horrendous injury problems. One game in which the Manager got things wrong. Like I said, look at it any way you want, it depends on your mindset, Im not a manic depressive, I dont have prescription drugs to stop me committing suicide, I dont let hate or bitterness rule me out of reasoned thought. Better than we normally do against the top 4 aswell All those results prove is that Roeder is not capable of motivating his players against lesser teams. Home defeats to Fulham, Sheffield United and Manchester City show that.

    Mascherano

He only played in the UEFA for West Ham and so is available to play in the CL. If they were in the UEFA Cup he wouldn't be allowed to play. Liverpool had already qualified from their CL group when they signed him so they knew they wouldn't be going into the UEFA Cup.

  12. See my earlier post about changes from next season. You're not behind the goal any more, you get the bit at the front f the Witton Lane (our the Doug Ellis as you probably know it) and the bit above it. Will the size of the allocation still be the same? I don't know for sure, but i think it will be slightly lower, due to the difficulties of segregating any more of the Witton Lane stand. This is out of some misguided belief that we're better off with home fans behind both goals, which most of our fans seem to agree with. However, those seats at the front of the North Stand are amongst the most uncomfortable places on earth, and the rake is so slight that the view isn't even very good. Well you have to give us 3,000 minimum given the size of your ground.

  14. He's as good as, if not better than Ledley King, who many of your lot seem to think is world class.
  15. Parking under the stadium and ferrys to take fans away from the stadium according to the press conference.
  16. Aye that is google earth but I didn't do it, someone posted it on another forum about this new stadium so I pinched it.
  17. To give an idea of location and why it will cost so much to build if it is to be built, can't see it happening to be honest. http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/7628/fp7lc8.jpg
  18. It has his age down as 54, Souness is only 53.
  19. Home games at Kingston Park this season, not sure where they will be next season.
  20. This does not go all the way back to when we first signed him but shows the last few years... http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/1596/diress3.jpg
  21. Motivation. Players up for it against a big team so Roeder doesn't really need to get them up for it. Roeder not capable of motivating the players for games against lesser sides.
