So it went from being a solid fact that we'd agreed a deal to take Barnes in January, but now they're only rumours, and it's Tottenham anyway who had an agreement. * Jol Talks s**** and Lies Vol. 2524b Try to read it again. I said Newcastle had a bid accepted, I didn't say a deal was agreed. Acceptance of a bid indicates the fee to be paid is agreed, not personal terms nor even if the player wants to move to Newcastle. You may recall that Spurs had a bid accepted by Chelsea for Damien Duff. He still finished up at SJP in spite of that. Where did I say that Spurs had an agreement? I said "an agreement on those lines has been rumoured since the last window, reputedly with Spurs." What I said and what you say I said are poles apart. The simple fact is you have your opinions and distort the facts or rewrite history to make them fit your opinions. Haha, a new signature... trying to prove something? Not at all. Just saying I wasn't down the Brickie's having a pint after the match! Bob, what has a boardroom pass got to do with the The Bricklayers Arms ? Nothing at all. And the name isn't Bob either, but 9/10 for detective work! So who is Bob Hale?

Is this not now his third spell on the sidelines since Christmas? These have been periods lasting more than one game. Alarmingly, goal kicks seem to be giving him trouble, there have even been matches where he has played through injuries sustained mid-match. He is 31, many injuries may not fully heal. If our medical staff have a feeling that this may continue, now would be the best time to sell, as other clubs may not have picked up on any problems, as this would secure decent money for a replacement. This is all assumming that I was manager and could choose the replacement. I don't see it happenning while Roeder is in charge. One effective and realistic replacement would be Isaksson in my opinion. If it is as bad as you think it might be then he should fail a medical at any clubs that want to sign him.

no, it's still a video review of a penalty decision The only thing that stirred up so much discussion was your assertion we should review pens after the award. well, it still is, but it obviously is up to the ref to decide if he's given one first. Again, this is not about stopping the game everytime a player shouts But then what is the f****** point if the referee still has to make the desicion that he could well get wrong and then the decision does not go to a TV replay? Your idea is f****** stupid, just like you. because he gets the advantage of reviewing his decision using video. wasn't rocket science but stills seems to have lost you i see No, your stupid idea is just that, stupid.. you f****** pick. The whole idea of using TV replays for anything is to take away the chance of the referee getting a decision wrong, so then what is the point in just using it to confirm his decision or not, when he could well get it wrong anyway and a team may not get a penalty when they should have because of a mistake by the referee. Think about it you think c***. It is a stupid idea. well if you were the ref I could see how you might still have difficulty interpreting the rules even after seeing a few replays at all angles. Then again, I don't think you'd pass the ref's course entry exam tbh What the fuck has me passing a referee entry exam got to do with it? Right now now I probs would fail it but if I prepared for it I'd pass. Still you idea is fucking shit, and would spoil the game anyway. Only technology that should be brought in is for goal line decisions.

You didn't notice him come off the bench on Monday then? He even won a header!

Luque has not been 'absolutely s*** in every single game', but i can't get into that again, and who says he's going to leave? After Shepherd blocked his move to PSV it was widely accepted we'd be paying him £40k a week until his contract expires. Let's hope our new manager, if indeed we have one in the Summer, deals with him better than Roeder has. Duff probably has improved, but not enough considering the match time he has had. He barely looks match fit yet... Shepherd didn't block his move man, Luque wouldn't take a pay cut! The PSV chairman came out and said otherwise, didn't he? Anyway, if you're correct, it means Luque leaving is even more unlikley. Edit: http://www.dutchnews.nl/news/archives/2007/02/league_leader_psv_tops_soccer.php Aye the PSV Chairman wouldn't pay Luque what he wanted.

Flimsy CV? Won two Swedish cups, Swedish League title and UEFA Cup with IFK Goteborg. Won the Portugese League three times and Cup with Benfica(two spells) and got to the UEFA Cup final and European Cup final, Won the Italian Cup with A.S Roma. Won the Italian Cup with Sampdoria. And on top of that his time at Lazio where he won The Italian League Title Two Italian Cups 1 Cup Winners Cup. His overall record with England was very impressive in competative games, played 67 lost only 5. Yes we bottled it in the end a few times. Not the worst CV in world football if you ask me!

Yay, lets stick with a manager who will, inevitably, make even mid table seem like a far off, promised land. Yay, lets stick with a manager who will, inevitably, make even mid table seem like a far off, promised land. And take a HUGE risk on a manager with an outstanding record at club level.

From their official site Coleman Replaced Tuesday 10th April 2007 Fulham Football Club this evening announced its decision to replace Chris Coleman as Manager with immediate effect. Chris Coleman has provided a fantastic service during his ten years at the Club and it is disappointing that the Club has no alternative but to part company. As a team and organisation Fulham Football Club has goals to attain and success to achieve and by no means can this be compromised. As part of the re-structure, Steve Kean will also be replaced with immediate effect. After consultation with the Irish FA President Jim Boyce it is agreed that Lawrie Sanchez will join as Caretaker Manager for the remaining five Premiership games of the season.

Barton has a lot of business interests and with his media work on top of the company he runs I can't see him turning to football management.

Yes You 100% sure? Yes it was mentioned in the Newcastle United Plc Interim Results for the six months ended 31 December 2006 released on 30th March this year.

not gonna give martins a partner then??? Aye Dyer will play close enough to Martins to support him.. We are bad enough with 11 men, I'd hate to see how bad we would be if we started a game with 10 men!
