I'm happy if the deal goes through at 23.59pm if it means that there is no chance of Solano getting sold then...
-
He was not going to get ahead of the likes of Rozy, Cacapapa, Taylor, Faye and would only have played third fiddle. So it is not only the best for the club but also for the player. At this stage he still has the chance to not go down the McClen-route of failed talents...

f*** Wikipedia man. Ha ha.........have faith in the Wiki man have faith in the Wiki!! :angel8: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_Swarfega

The transfer window is really an unfair restriction in strengthening the squad, isn't it [/Roeder]

That's a bit harsh to let the plumber first to undergo a medical. I knew health and safety regulations in England can be odd, but this is surely taking the piss...

You mean the interview from Marseille's official site that has been discussed here since it was put up yesterday evening and that you now have mentioned several times?
-
Well, I'll see if I can get a ticket for the game against Barca. Is it just me or look most groups really rubbish and boring.
-
He was immense in the last stages tbh.
-
Hopefully Stuttgart get a interesting group. I could force myself into this abortion of a football stadium for a good fixture (and if I can get hold of a ticket).

Does everyone buying it before the end of the month does get a free swastika flag?

I think it's best to do that for everyone, nothing wrong with a bit of healthy scepticism. For every Solano there's an Andreas Andersson, after all... but could argue that the vast majority of players we've had over the last ten years haven't helped that much whether foreign or not. I'd be surprised if all of Allardyce's signings work out and as you say for every Solano there's an Andreas Andersson, personally I'm not expecting miracles from any of our Summer signings from abroad which I think is the best way rather than have unreasonable expectations of them. Fair enough a bit of realism but to me that doesn't mean having to be negative about every transfer. Just don't assume they are going to be world class because they have a cool name! Pfff ... you should have learnt your lesson after Amady Faye.

Starts at 6pm cet, i.e. in half an hour.

Bit harsh like, Isegrim's a good lad even if he doesn't like Emre. Speaking of it. Hurryet (probably the most credible of Turkish not very reliable newspapers) quoted Emre after the latest international as looking for a move to Galatalarasaray in winter. Now Turkish press, that's a place where Oliver would really fit in...
-
Has no one else noticed that he has ceen citing from public interviews (from Newcastle World, Skysports etc.) but adds "Allardyce told me", "when speaking to" quite a lot recently...
-
The great thing is that Oliver has became such a parody of himself that I'm no longer sure if you have made that up or he has actually said it! Just read the article on icNewcastle. He will look pretty stupid (again!) if Beye does sign but let's wait until that time before slagging him off completely. Even if the deal is not coming off - for whatever reason - it looks to me a rather lazy journalistic approach to completely ignore all the indications that at this moment do point to an imminent deal. What has Alan been doing all morning? It certainly wasn't research...
-
So while the deal is all over the papers, the official l'OM website even running a 'farewell'-interview with the player himself, Anal O. is saying that 'United will realise that Beye used them to get a better deal at Marseille' and advocates the club to go for Glen Johnson...
-
was that the goal? Rather looks like his typical first touch... As long as he has as many of those "first touches" as he did last season I wont be complaining.

According to the Sky Score Centre Slavia scored in the 86+3 minute... WTF?
-
I hope so. The only thing with Beye is that he could have come earlier in the summer and seemed to commit himself to Marseille. Would that change now in the space of a couple of months? I'm not sure. To be fair he said he would stay unless they got an offer they couldn't refuse, thats a good sign of commitment. Just flicking through some French sites and online papers it looks like they reckon he fell out with the manager (although the manager denied) it. Beye didn't play last weekend as well.

This is why Big Sam said yesterday he gives the two deals he is pursuing firstly a time limit of 24-48 hours. Apparently the deals that are in the backhand could be done rather quickly, but Big Sam wants to know at least by Thursday if he has to turn to other options.

Jesus f****** Christ Wow, the "snow" in Middlesbrough can really cause severe brain damage. Hypothermia?
-
Mate, the weakened team was in protest to the fact there were only Toulouse in the changing rooms. Wow, I herewith declare you to be a honorary German for outstanding services to awful humour...
-
That's what I fear. But people seem too busy celebrating the injury of the player of another team than to worry that it might lead to us losing one of the last creative players in the squad...

Really bad luck for Dyer, I just hope that West Ham don't come in for Solano now...
