    Hatem Ben Arfa

Mondays visit was put on hold so we could wrap up the Sol deal. Blatantly signing tomorrow
  6. Simpson, Raylor and Samuel. Not even the makings of a decent player between them.
  7. Have taken a chance and booked the travelodge for both of the home midweek games already. Its great to see that (as yet) there are only two of them compared to last seasons every other week.

  9. FAO Mike and Dekka - "The first team shirt worn in the Championship this year (and previous seasons) will form the basis for what supporters will be wearing for next season in the Premier League. There is no plan for new capital outlay on new clothing or merchandise."
  10. CaulkinTheTimes For those asking whether no "new" outlay means there might be something in the pot ... #Nufc say their £20m overdraft is "fully committed."
  11. I didnt think we needed any more excuses to hate Ashley, I just assumed it was a given..
  12. I dont think we will see massive changes incoming or outgoing. I think its more likely we will see 2 or 3 bosmans coming in. I really wouldnt be surprised if Kris Boyd was one of them.
  13. Don't understand your logic regarding signing on a free. Chamakh is likely to sign on a free with Arsenal does that make him crap? Or does it mean he should therefore only be sold on the cheap in future? I think it's more to do with the fact we bought a player for 8m, because they'd only just signed for another team. And that very same player was targeted to be bought by SBR when he went on a free to Rangers. Nothing to do with the player's quality, just the scenario, and then how poor his quality was. Boumsong signed a pre contract with Rangers in Jan 2004. Robson tried to sign Boumsong when Rangers crashed out of Europe and the Woodgate bid had been accepted, he was still looking to splash the cash on him not just Souness.
  14. Fletcher was playing in the SPL last year, surely that means he is no where near good enough
  15. The obscene amount of money players earn today is the problem in all of this. We can all say slag Given off and talk about loyalty etc, but when you are talking about sums of money to this amount I think there will always be one outcome.
  16. 5 strikers not good enough for the Premiership. Its going to be great next season if we do go up....
  17. When you consider some people think the likes of Nolan, Smith, Simpson, Shola etc are good players at this level, I don't see a problem with Nobby being able to handle it even though he is 35. The likes of Graham Alexander looked the part at this level (and still does at 39 in the premiership). He may not have the legs but having a good footballing brain and the technical ability that he does I think he will be a great short term signing.
  18. He is out for 6 weeks having just had a Hernia Operation...
