Other clubs understand the value of the fans buying in and creating a deeper connection with the fans, particular younger ones who are living through a digital age and expect certain types of content for free.

I would get it if they were monopolising it, and say giving it to some specific newspapers, but they've basically given this news for free, when they could have used it to actually communicate with fans without costing any money. We also give Sports Direct free advertising instead of getting advertisers who will pay us money for the service. Nothing Ashley does makes any sense.
