"Certainly there is a cautionary tale there," the 58-year-old said. No there isn't. "It has been tough on Newcastle this year because the progress last year was fantastic. "The reward for that was Champions League and this year, for whatever reason, it has made it a really challenging season on all fronts for them." Because we have had half the squad injured all season. Do a little research prick.

Still creasing at his save where the ball just beans him in the face

I grew up watching football from about 94 onwards (in a serious way anyway) and I've always rooted against all other English teams in Europe. Can remember genuinely punching the air with delight when Iniesta got that late goal against Chelsea.
-
Good players still playing as they were originally trained at their previous clubs. The longer they were here and got Pardew'd the more it went tits up.
-
They haven't. That's just his release clause (and all of Leipzig's players seem to have a 70m release clause).
-
I really don't want us to buy any British/PL based players this summer. If FFP is going to be strangling the fuck out of us, I'd rather we got value for money abroad plugging as many gaps as possible rather than pay inflated fees for one or two players who probably won't even play straight away anyway.
-
What if everyone just breaches FFP and starts the season with points deductions?
-
It was very easy in those days.
-
Surprised his knee didn't explode with that botched knee slide celebration.
-
Was allowed to play against us and scored meaning we didn't beat Portsmouth and put a massive dent in our CL hopes in 2004.
-
He'd probably deliberately concede goals just to get at us.
-
Also the wannabe pitch invader getting tackled by security.
-
His second yellow is so petty by the referee the more you see it.
-
I mean even in his post-match interview he's boring, but I'll gladly take goals and goal contributions over step overs any day.
-
Yeah, but how many step overs has he done?
-
Boring boring Harvey Barnes.

People seem surprised? We've been a disjointed team all season.
