It's the football philosophy of Allardyce, Pulls, Hughes and Pardew versus that of Wenger, Martinez, Pochitino, and Laudrup? I know which I prefer, but we'll never get that under the current regime.
-
If he's got any sense, he'll be looking for a new club. He'll never reach his full potential under Pardew.
-
: Wullie's explained it perfectly.
-
When you're as good as he is and you're not getting a game must be so frustrating. When he then gets on, it's hardly surprising that he tries to do too much.
-
Cowardly Pardew again. Arse were there for the taking but the manager didn't have the bottle to go for it.

No point watching the games. Let's just skip them and look at the result afterwards. Can't discuss performances. I honestly couldn't fault them. They've done us proud. Hardly a poor individual performance in both games. What's your assessment of the 2nd half today? Similar to Cardiff second half. Home side pushed on for an equaliser as you'd expect, we handled everything they threw at us until you just knew we had dealt with everything they had to offer and we would be taking 3 points back home. Obviously Spurs carved out a couple more chances than Cardiff due their quality but we were resilient and showed we were willing to fight them all the way and won't fold. Superb attitude and spirit to refuse to be beaten. It's funny how we always pose no attacking threat second half when we're leading at half time, you reckon? Or are you really not joining the dots? Well i don't want to say we should be going looking for a second goal when our defence has proven it can withstand the pressure. We did it often in the season we finished 5th, score and make it difficult for opposition to break down. If it was 0-0 half time, we may have come out and looked for the winner like against Chelsea but we had the lead and it was up to Spurs to take that off us and they failed. Credit to the players for their attitudes and credit to Pardew for having faith in his tactics. "NO MORE GOALS"

Well done Time 4 Change. Couldn't have hoped for such a poor strategic reaction from the club. Hopefully, this will now give added impetus to the movement to organise more anti Ashley demos, and the local and national press get on board to give Ashley the negative publicity that he won't enjoy.

I'll repeat a point I've made before. Despite his power and athleticism, Taylor does not seem to impose himself enough on the game. He tends to back off, staying goalside to avoid getting beaten, relying on blocking rather than intercepting or tackling. In terms of general ability, Williamson probably doesn't have anything over Taylor. (His distribution may be a bit better, but both are poor so I won't labour that point) In fact Taylor is stronger and quicker. But in terms of his style of defending, Williamson is much more pro-active. Crucially, he gets closer to his opponent. He's less worried about making mistakes and takes more initiative. Williamson's distribution is better than Taylor's??? Fucking amazing! Williamson looked OK last night only because Everton were shit in the 2nd half. Williamson is not a Premiership player! So many short memories on here.

Rooney showed last night what a good pro does in the situation that Cabaye finds himself in. Get out on the pitch and work your bollocks off for the club and the fans who pay your exorbitant wages. Pardew should be making it clear that Cabaye's behaviour is totally unacceptable, and that the club will be fining the whinging little scrote, irrespective of whether he stays or not. To not take strong action will set a dangerous precedent, which is not what we need when we have a squad of mercenaries who must be thinking why they came here following another piss poor transfer window and start to the season. We've not got the character of a Nolan or Barton to knock the dressing room into shape this season. Poor discipline will only accelerate our slide downwards.
-
over 30?!!! Also way he acted last deadline day isn't exactly a character reference Another mercenary! He'll fit right in!
-
Hope we're not paying the twat! How many season tickets does his wages over the period of inactivity equate to?

Anyone giving Ashley money either directly or indirectly need to have a serious word with themselves. They are only perpetuating the misery that the fat one is inflicting on us, and the only way to put an end to it is hit his bottom line. It's the only language he understands. I still care deeply about the club, but the heart, soul, tradition and history have been ripped out of the club with Ashley at the helm. My advice is stop going to games, stop buying NUFC merchandise and cancel TV sport subscriptions. That's what I've done, and so have many others, and more will come to their senses in time.

He's definitely French, he plays for France at football and stuff. Missed the point... ...again!

Has this been actually confirmed or is it just heresay? Well it's being argued that he refused because he doesn't want to get injured, so said Ryder in the Chronicle. Or the club's lying by saying he refused. Or Ashley is not letting him play so he doesn't get injured so we can sell him. Take your pick. Is that a 'no' then? one place below us All right wannabe smart arse! If you've ever been to Selhurst Park you know what I mean.
-
Fuck off to Palace! Just about his level.
-
Haven't you been paying attention? He hasn't and doesn't want to play for us!
-
Didn't he say something similar before the mackems and Liverpool?
-
Dave this really should be a seperate topic you power crazy cu person.
-
JFK's not for the better obviously, that's probably going to be awful. Pardew is the same as last season, with the slight chance he's learned something. That could go either way. I wasn't saying everything was positive. No, but we can forget about it when the football starts! Or, more likely, we will get more frustrated and more annoyed at the lack of players and the shite tactics.
-
Don't worry, Joe's back from his holiday soon then we'll really see some action.
-
There's no other option but treatment. 'Locking [him] up' is an inhumane (and, as I'd expect you to know, impracticable) response, as is leaving him to his own devices. The only solution is to put him in a place where he can't drink, can't interact with the outside world and can reflect upon what a thorough mess he's become and why. He needs to be imprisoned or detained under the MHA for a long period, not days, weeks or months. He's fucking ill you arsehole!
-
A loveless marriage indeed. I'd love it to progress to battering, and if I had the chance to get my hands on Ashley it wouldn't stop there. I'd have to be dragged off before I killed the cunt!
-
Yeah because everyone is going to be scrambling to use it on him when needed Put one pad on each ear and try to shock him back to reality.
