  1. Fucking hell. Contrived logic or what?
  2. This is the point. Just got in from the gun club, so apologies if this has been covered, but this is potentially the best thing that could have happened. If Hatem burns up the league for Hull while we're struggling to create chances as expected, even the dimmest fan / journo / random pundit / fans of other clubs / Twitter twit will be able to see how clueless Pards is. Maybe even fat Mike! Gun Club!? Mmmm... http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/0/4024/570745-mrburns1.gif
  3. A real shame that Benny never got to play in a Keegan team.
  4. Hull fans getting excited at the prospect of watching Ben Arfa every week.
  5. Do you really need any further proof of that???
  6. Did you start following Newcastle yesterday? No. I've total faith in the management to do what's best for the club.
  7. Based on his record in France he was one of the most promising young centre backs in Europe and the "coaching team" at NUFC have totally fucked it up. Good luck to the lad, and I'm sure he'll show what he can do at an ambitious club who want to play football.
  8. There's no way they'll let MYM go without a replacement lined up.
  9. "Alan Pardew reckons home crowd excitement may have affected Newcastle United during Crystal Palace draw" How the fuck does he get away with this shit!? Surely Ashley must now be able to see him for what he is; an absolute chancer who is totally out of his depth. And he's spending his money whilst undermining his assets. If it was any other business, his feet wouldn't touch the floor.
  10. Class again today. Very composed in possession and gets his foot in. Massive improvement on Tiote and that's why I think Tiote will go. Cashley will be pleased.
  11. Keep yourselves "entertained" by counting the number of times Williamson passes it back to Krul. Utter Shiite Man!
  12. So many promising players, working under such a shite coach. The prime target is likely to be achieved again this season, so the mediocrity will continue. So fucking disappointing.
  13. The personification of why Pardew should not be a Premiership manager. What can he possibly see in this waste of space???
  14. Just started reading this crap whilst watching Falling Down on Sky Movies. I think Bimps could be on his way to taking the lead in the sequel.
  15. I think you could argue that in many cases, it's the less committed who continue to turn up, the people who can afford it comfortably who just like going to the game. I consider myself fairly hardcore (missed about half a dozen home games in all competitions over more than ten years) but it's gotten to a point where feeding money to this bunch is actively detrimental to NUFC in the long term. I think you're right. I've never had a season ticket but I probably will go to a couple of games next season just because I like visiting SJP when I'm home every so often. Ashley/Pardew apologist helps perpetuate regime shocker!

I'll show my arse in Fenwicks window if he makes it as a regular first teamer. He's not got the ability, the heart nor the will I'm afraid. Just like his brother that you guys seem to want to forget about. We'll never know if he's got the ability or not because he's being developed in a toxic environment without any sort of coherent youth development strategy. It can't be a coincidence that the same clubs tend to produce all the good youth prospects while we consistently produce fuck all. You have to imagine spread of talent is roughly equal across the country, it's a matter of having a system. According to Pardew, it's because all northerners a "fick" compared to their southern counterparts.
  17. This is why I hated the attitude of some when Keegan walked, that "he should have swallowed his pride and stuck with it for the good of the club" What, and become a spineless snivelling little shitbag like Alan Pardew, licking his boss's hoop in public and lying to the supporters at every opportunity? The man has far too much about him to do that and every Newcastle fan should respect 100% his decision to walk. Not just respect it in fact, love it - how many people stand up to Mike Ashley and win? Ah he's fucking great, man. I agree we should respect his decision, but wouldn't you rather have Keegan managing under Ashley's restrictions than Pardew? He wouldn't have his say in buying players, and his budget would be too small, but he could still create a team that was more than the sum of its parts and went out to play attractive football. I think that's what people meant when they wanted him to stick around. To even suggest that Keegan could work for Ashley shows that you have no appreciation of Keegan, the man, at all.
  18. He's the worst I've ever seen at NUFC, by some distance. Roeder was a lot better than this guy, and you could argue he was working with a considerably weaker (or limited) squad. He did fantastic to take us to the FA Cup 1/4's and finish 7th in his interim season, but then struggled the next season as we finished 14th (I think) after the bank had dried up for Freddie. In that season we drew with Arsenal away, beat Liverpool at home, and got that remarkable draw at home to Man Utd with a team full of bairns. We also reached the UEFA Cup 1/4's, and tried to play decent football whenever possible. We had some horrendous matches too, I won't glorify the man; Charlton, Sheff Utd, Blackburn at home being particularly poignant. But he did beat the mackems......4-1. Then the likes of Hughton; installed a fantastic attitude, humility, and spirit into the club. He got us promoted, forged a very effective system for the players at his disposal and was successful with it. We beat the mackems 5-1 under him (then Arsenal away a week later). The final straw for him was that game at WBA, which was horrendous, but Pardew has overseen worse- see last 3 derbies.... Night on wasn't afraid, he wasn't a spineless coward who lived to serve his master, he cared about the club and it's supporters. He did far, far more for this club than AP has, and is a good man. Christ, even Souness got us to an FA Cup Semi-final- taking it to Spurs and Chelsea along the way- and a UEFA cup 1/4. He was awful. But he even beat the mackems 3-2. All of the above had their faults, some more glaring than others. Most weren't a lot better than average, but the point of my fairly aimless rant is to highlight just what an awful person Pardew is, and just how insulting he is to us as fans, and our clubs history and traditions. I truly hate the man. He has drained any form of excitement from this clubs life and along with Ashley has us where he wants us; in that straight jacket of mediocrity. We don't play our best players, we don't want to win anything, we play a dire brand of football, we're being lectured that losing to our bitterest lessors is acceptable and will become the norm. We have the f***ing p*ss ripped out of us by Pardew and Ashley and they don't give a f*** as long as they make the last buck out of us. I won't ever go back to SJP as long as both Ashley and Pardew are there. Agreed. He is our worst manager outside of Kinnear in the time I've supported us. Losing at home to the mackems 3-0 in succession and our failings in the cup against considerably weaker or lesser sides is enough to damn him against Souness, Roeder and Allardyce easily. Jack Charlton was worse imo, forcing Beardsley and Waddle to track back to stop the opposition. But the most clueless NUFC manager I've seen has got to be Ossie.
  19. And that's great, wish I could as well but I can't.
  20. I think it's laughable and sad that so many are analysing the boil, that was the result today, and not addressing the tumour that is killing the club.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

This club is no place for a flair player.
  22. Horse s***, I'd take a defeat tomorrow if it started something that ended in Ashley and his poodles leaving. As it is, we'll probably get the worst of both, lose and the t***s remain. I believe Ian's point is that even if we lost and there were protests, nothing would change. Which is true. That depends on the strength of the protest though. It's the apathy amongst the match going fans that is killing us. Ashley is just taking advantage of that apathy.
  23. As idiotic as the thousands of non season ticket holders going to St James' every other week, dressed in their Wonga shirts and their Sports Direct tracky bottoms?
