Even money on Betfair! Keegan's the best poker player in history!!!
-
Keegan not sacked!!!
-
Because despite what people with their heads in the sand may think, going by bids we've made and players who've turned us down, we had the money available, and he didn't attract anyone of note with it. What are you on about you fuckwit!? Keegan hasn't had any involvement with transfers. That's one of the major problems with this setup. And yet just on Friday Keegan was saying himself that it was he, not Wise who had the final say on transfers and Milner leaving... A final say is one thing, but Keegan in a room convincing the player to come to Newcastle is another.
-
SSN now saying Keegan has been sacked!! FUCK OFF YOU COCKNEY CUNTS!

I can see it happening, in fact that's still the most likely outcome. Don't forget we have nothing at all from any reputable sources at this point. Still 1/6 on Betfair, so it's no certainty.
-
Do you think that'll stop if Keegan has gone?!
-
If Ashley's got any sense he will be groveling around Keegan begging him to come back.
-
COCKNEY BASTARDS FUCK OFF OUT OF OUR CLUB!!!!!!
-
Isn't it just the Wayne Rooney scenario again??
-
Was thinking this myself. Even more ironic when you get the really OTT fans that actually get irate and shout threatening abuse etc. There's a huge difference between having a fight and laying into someone when he's unconscious! That makes him scum of the earth and I'll never support him!
-
Arse were shite against Fulham and they need Fabrigas to pull it all together for them, if we man mark Fabrigas with someone like Barton I think we've got a great chance of getting a result.
-
They've got this one wrong though, I frequently feel moved to defend them on here from irrational hatred but don't agree with this article at all. Summed up succinctly by tmonkey : .coms slant on things takes all that away from Keegan and leaves him a hapless victim whilst advocating we keep people due to having a good workrate and a clean nose. The quote "including the manager's diminished influence this time around" surely proves that they've lost the plot! How can they come to that conclusion when Keegan has said categorically that it was his decision to sell Milner, and that he's taken that decision for the good of the club. The lads on .com should know as well as any Newcastle fan of the last 20 years that Keegan will never back down to anyone if he thinks he's right, and I don't see that situation ever changing. In fact I take the opposite view to theirs in that I believe Keegan's influence is growing within the club with each good result and good performance that his team delivers. confidence in his ability to make something great happen at NUFC grows, just as it did first time around.

You can see in the price it is fantastic business And Keegan said he's got players lined up to come in. I think we need both, the money and new players.
-
I trust Keegan's judgement and if he says it's good business then that'll do for me.
-
WHY!!??
-
The new Philippe Albert! Aye was thinking exactly that. Also shows he's confident in his own ability. Wouldn't that be nice, a footballing centre back.
-
Colo just broke an attack up on the edge of his own penalty area, played a 1 - 2 and ended up as the Argies most forward player on the edge of their box. At least shows he's fit and willing to attack from the centre back position.
-
Woodgate was the best centre back I've ever seen playing for Newcastle, if Coloccini is in the same class and can stay fit he'll do for me.
-
Probably more paper talk, but is he surplus to requirements? http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1044130/Villa-planning-6m-raid-Newcastle-Milner.html?ITO=1490

Thank god you're in the minority. Disgraceful that some called "supporters" booed one of our own players. Fuck off band wagon merchants!
-
true we do need a top class cm as guthrie, geremi, butt and nut nut barton are too similar....zog could play there but someone like moutinho would be quality!!! anyone know much about zamberla??
-
Spot on. No chance of us signing him. Move on.
-
Me too. I don't really know what he's getting at. As Wullie says, most of the players he bought were made to work by Keegan. It's not like people started off saying we were right to sack him then were proved wrong. To be fair he had 22 games - obviously made some silly mistakes but id hardly say he was a failure. Bare in mind Keegan didnt nothing agsint opponents in the top half, hardly enough evidence to suggest that he was a guarantued failure - definitiely no evidence to suggest Keegan will be a guranateed success. Bit of a red herring, that. Keegan came in with moral and orginisation at rock bottom with a run of games against the best in the league. Bit of a big ask to expect him to turn things around to the point were we're getting results from the likes of Arsenal, Manure, Chelsea, Villa or Everton.. The teams we needed to get results from were the teams around us and we did that. Under that fat c*** we couldn't even beat Derby or Stoke. He made us into a f***ing awful team, a shambles, that's failure in my book.. Ok....no doubt it was an incredibly poor start, but the general consensus amongst the fans were that he may of suceeded eventually - even today i bet there'd be some people who would admit that he may of suceeded eventually, hardly the definition of failure. Same cant be said for someone like Souness- now thats the definition of failure. What are you going on about man?! There's no doubt in my mind that had Allardyce been our manager until the end of the season we would have been relegated. Now that's the definition of failure!!!

Well done Ashley! He'll have to take the financial hit, but he'll learn from it and never sanction a signing like scumbag Barton in the future because he now knows that the character of the individual is just as important as the level of footballing ability.
