How many in the Premier League though?
-
Last season we didn't have the Premier League's worst manager presiding over our demise
-
He may not be the answer to our problems but the previous post is correct. He is the best passer of a ball we have. You do realise he is our top goal scorer don't you? Yeah, I do realise he is our top scorer, and I absolutely do not expect that to be a continued theme whatsoever. Similar to the way all those defender goals have dried up, I expect the same to be the case with Shelvey. That was not typical at all what he was doing earlier this season. We have regressed to the norm and it is all downhill from here folks. It's a wrap. I'll put money on us getting a result shortly after Shelvey comes back from injury.

He’s shite as well, how bad are we where the thought of Hayden playing is considered making us better. He’s the ultimate nothing player, at least a Shelvey who is turbo shit can pass and get the odd goal in 30 games. Championship midfield at best, Championship squad no doubt. Almiron, the ‘keeper Schar and Fernandez aside. The rest are shite. It’s remarkable what Rafa achieved with them. See my reply above. I don't want a CM who only operates in a small area of the pitch because he's either too lazy or just not fit for purpose. I'd pick Hayden every time over Shelvey or Bentaleb. And I agree, Hatden's not good enough. That's really naive and obviously born out of a personal grudge towards the player. It's no coincidence our ability to create, score and win has gone completely since Shelvey has been injured. He's comfortably the best CM we have and he's the only player in the squad capable of playing a defence splitting pass. Without him we're left with 4 workmanlike CMs who contribute absolutely fuck all offensively to our play. Like him or not, Shelvey is an absolutely key player.

Doucoure has incredible work rate and doesn't stop running until the game is over, this guy looks knackered and unable to move once the ref blow the half time whistle. That's not true at all - he was tracking back near the end of the game and making tackles in our own half. His workrate and energy aren't the problem, his complete lack of service and the fact he's not actually a striker are the problems, and the fact that our manager doesn't think improving the players through coaching and tactics is part of his remit.

Looked loads better in a more advanced role, albeit against Oxford. He’s had a wank game today though. Offers absolutely nothing in any aspect of the game.

What have we done to deserve this hopeless turd?!
-
It’s alright lads, Brucie’s got a plan B up his sleeve. We’ll be back in this in no time!
-
So far we’ve got Barry Hearn, Kim Kardasian’s mate, Amanda Stavely, The Rueben Brothers and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia involved in this deal. What the fuck is going on?!
-
I'd much rather have aids than cancer. Is that Bruce or Pardew?
-
It's like choosing between cancer and aids.

'You're shit bruv!" Yeah, and you're from Oxford you urban wannabe toff prick!

I genuinely wonder what a manager like Bruce and his coaches think and feel when they see their team being played off the park by a league 1 outfit. Oxford were so much better coached and drilled than we were and had a very attractive style of play, while we just looked disorganised and bereft of ideas. They surely can't be thick skinned enough to think that's not their fault? Part of me hopes Bruce realises his limitations as a manager but he masks them by saying daft shit and playing to the gullible (much like Donald Trump does). I'd definitely have more respect for him if that's the case - there are plenty of people out there stealing a living in other industries and much of their survival plan relies on bullshit. I just struggle to believe that all three of the Steves can stand there watching that game and genuinely believe that our players aren't good enough to be coached into playing better football?!
-
He did scuff it into the ground. Did he?! I haven't watched the replay. Yes, but TBF I suppose that's OK as long as you're directing it in the corner. Yeah, they all count don't they. Hopefully it gives him a bit of confidence anyway

It was a tidy little finish to be fair. I was fully expecting him to hit the keeper

Yep, looked straight up into the stands. It was rank. https://twitter.com/MoneyMikeAshley/status/1224825422984155136?s=19

So Brewcie doesn’t think our players are good enough to pass the ball around more than they do, while we sit and watch a league 1 side play us off the park. Fucking idiot!
-
Just need one of Brewcie’s famous teamtalks and we’ll smash this lot in extra time.
-
Brewcie give us a wave, Brewcie Brewcie give us a wave!!
-
So, in Shelvey, Longstaff, Schar, Lejuene, St Maximim, Bentaleb, Muto, Almiron, Joelinton, Ritchie etc. we don't have enough ability to pass the ball around better than we are at the moment?! That is literally one of the worst quotes i've ever seen from a football manager.....ever!
