Only 11 out of 20 clubs voted to close loophole - they needed at least 14. Which 9 are happy with this?! Fucking sick of money ruining the game -
Big Dan Burns header is in probably my top 3 goals in 40 years of following the Toon. Absolutely loved it 😍
-
Gona be Luke Edwards with something along the lines of deal agreed for Calvert-Lewin

Fucking nearly had a heart attack when I saw this thread at the top of the page. Burn this thread to the ground and lets never speak of it again

N-O Predictions 24/25 - Final standings posted

Cheers @Magpie for great efforts in constantly keeping on top of everything! had good fun doing this, I'm sure I was in the bottom half around Christmas so god knows how I managed to pull it off 😂 Looking forward to going again in August 👍 -
Honestly shocked at people saying result has put a downer on the day. Guaranteed that in 1 week we'll forget all about this game and just remember the fact we qualified for the Champions League. Who gives a fuck how we did it, we did it and thoroughly deserve it over the season. We won 20 games Been the greatest season in all our lives to win a cup AND qualify for the big one is just a brilliant achievement. It's the end of an era for a few players and this summer could be the point we make the step to the next level. I can't wait!

Hojlund was through and Martinez ran out box and brought him down straight red. Debatable if its a goalscoring chance with that fraud through on goal though

All, this feel good factor will all seem a distant memory when they're getting gubbed 4s and 5s every week next season. They'll not think twice about pulling the trigger within 10-15 games and Regis will be jobless. As long as we don't get them in first 3 or 4 games. Newly promoted teams can occasionally start off well before crumbling so would be a bad time to play them. They'll be so out of their depth next season not even saying it cos its our rivals. Their keeper is decent and Ballard not a bad centre back but the rest aren't up to it not even convinced by poundland bellingham

Come on Sheff Utd man I need to see injury time heartbreak

The one who ducked was onside, the offside lad had zero effect on the goal in my opinion.

Oh look VAR getting involved

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
Pokerprince2004 replied to Rich's topic in Football
I didn't realise Forest had fallen away so far actually. If they lose today then they are guaranteed to finish 7th - no higher or lower. -
Just last week it happened in the Fulham v Everton match. I also remember Oliver sticking with a Bournemouth penalty at Forest and Villa got a 90th minute penalty against Palace last season even though VAR tried to overrule it although I agree its pretty rare.
-
Lineker said 10 teams could be in Europe next season Glasner - superb appointment by Palace. Turned Palace into a damn good team Pep - Looks disinterested to me think he's genuinely had enough. Wonder if he could make a surprise exit this summer? Man City - Doku, Savinho, O'Reilly all not anywhere near the standard for City. Big question marks on Marmoush, De Bruyne gone, Grealish pisshead, foden miles off it this year. Hope they dont sign Wirtz
-
Probably genuine this time as it hit hard on back of his head but it seems so common now when defenders head the ball away they just go down and pretend its a head injury knowing the game will be stopped.
-
I agree I think he's pretty decent as a co-commentator. Also excellent on The Rest is Football with Lineker and 'Big Meeks'
-
Oh fuck off if he sends Henderson off for that
-
Chelsea really do play some turgid shite for the amount of coin they've spent under Big Todd
-
Good use of VAR, Onana got the ball and didn't touch the Chelsea player
-
Son looks finished to me.

Extremely unlikely and probably been asked already but if Tottenham and Man Utd somehow both win we could actually qualify tonight? As Villa could no longer catch us and one of Forest/Chelsea wont be able to catch us either
