Aye scratch what I said, didn't see the flick on the line. Harsh as he was trying to get out the way but thats the rule so correct decision. Thought Leeds were relegation fodder along with us but they'll 100% pick up wins to see them alright. Also feel way less confident about next Saturday now too
-
No way should VAR rule that out in my opinion
-
Does anyone else watch Villa and think fuck wish we'd went for Gerrard or just me
-
Pretty disgraceful if as they were reporting on Soccer Saturday that Arsenal only actually have 1 Covid case and have just sent out 2 first team cover players on loan! They currently have 12 out through injury/suspension/AFCON

Aye I seen ToonMouthTyne say we have 1 keeper injured and 2 have tested positive for Covid so Gillespie will be in goal. Not the most reliable source I guess but he does seem to have contacts at the club as he's got a few things right before. Bad news if true -
Some twitter talk of Luka Jovic being a possibility. Has been a pretty disastrous time for him at Real Madrid but would be a great signing

Chris Wood (now playing for Nottingham Forest)
Pokerprince2004 replied to BeloEmre's topic in Football
Still a bit meh about this, when we were taken over I wasnt expecting Chris Wood to be our striker signing. Burnley forums are mixed with a few saying they're gutted and a few saying its good business as he doesn't offer anything. Of course I'd love to look back and think actually that was a class piece of business. Only time will tell -
Always nice to have fans of other clubs give opinion on their players Like others have asked, how highly do Seville fans rate him?
-
Lincoln City must be the new Burton Albion for them. Thought Sunderland and Rotherham were clear of the pack but Wigan are 5 points behind with 5 games in hand. They couldn't blow it again could they?
-
VAR tried to find an offside and failed, then tried to find a handball and failed so they go back to Cavani being blocked. 100% they were tdying to find something somewhere to disallow the goal. Sick to back teeth of VAR being the controversy when its job is to stop it

Aye same thing came up on my YouTube feed, fuck knows how he's got there as I dont subscribe to him. I guarantee you he wouldn't have heard of this Etikite lad this morning
-
Howay then, someone crack open a Hugo Ekitike thread
-
Was hoping for a Craig Hope special tonight, alas it was not meant to be Although 'The Gallowgate End Pigeon' on twitter says there will be a massive breaking transfer regarding us either tonight or in the morning. That probably belongs in the twitter bollocks thread though

Urgh, way too much for some 30 year old journeyman. Should be aiming a lot higher. These links with Wood, Cantwell, Solanke are worrying me, hopefully its just the press playing guessing games

Newcastle United 0 - 1 Cambridge United (08/01/2022)
Pokerprince2004 replied to Yorkie's topic in Football
Regarding that VAR decision for the Cambridge goal, I remember Silva scoring a similar goal where he was miles offside but because it hit Mings before the pass went through they decided to give it. PGMOL afterwards said it was bollocks and should've been disallowed. So fuck knows if that was the correct decision today or not, we really do have the worst officials in Europe - absolutely pony they are -
Blowing Milan out the water. This is class

Couple of days ago he didn't want to come here, this morning he is keen to join. Think the journo's dont have a clue on how the players feel on transfers, reckon Digne might want to come as well
-
A whole new back four perhaps against Watford? Digne..... Carlos..... Botman...... Trippier Incredible
-
This is genuinely surreal being linked with superstar after superstar, it kinda feels like its not real life, its mental like Who would be a better signing between Ake and Botman? Hear great things about Botman but there will always be an unknown until hes done it in a big league Whoever mentioned Wiltshire Wouldn't have took him under Ashley so would I fuck be interested now

12m must be wrong surely. Been quoted 25m to 30m by lots of different sources. I'd be stunned if its that cheap ?

Bit bored this afternoon so had a browse over RTG. Noticed Exile is back and was posting 'Anti Mag' stuff at 12.15am on NYD. Fuck sake man what a way to celebrate New Year There was only 5 pages added since last night, which for them was surprisingly low. Only realised thread has closed and a new NUFC 2022 opened this morning with over 200 replies already

Southampton P-P Newcastle United (02/01/2022)
Pokerprince2004 replied to HaydnNUFC's topic in Football
Do we have time to sign any players and add them into the squad for this match or is it too early?
