Good shout but not sure he is ever leaving! Seems to have a genuine rapport there?

That's an odd substitution for me

In comparison with Grealish and Foden I would tend to agree that he is (at the moment) behind them in terms of his development and at times contributions. But in terms of English midfielders/forward players I think the lad is fully deserving of his place in the England squad at the moment. Personally I want to see the English midfield built around Bellingham in the years to come. He is the real deal for me. With Grealish, Foden, Mount, Phillips, Rice,Sterling, Saka et al...what a future we could and should have.

Nah agree with an awful lot you post but can't agree with this. Mount is an excellent young player with bags of potential. What is his best position, now that is another matter. More than bang average, way more.

Should be a nod to what Southgate thinks his best eleven is tonight I would assume? (Injuries permitting)

Watching the Chelsea v Leicester women's match on Sky. Largely enjoyed most of the games I have watched tbh but this one is a bit of a plodder so far. One thing that has struck me is how stupid you sound when singing or chanting by yourself! There is some utter moron in the Chelsea fan end that is doing the 'aaaaaaah' thing whenever the Leicester keeper takes a kick, but doing it on his own (with a ridiculously loud and obnoxious voice it must be said), and the same prat is singing 'blue army' all alone: sounds an utter pillock.

I'm suddenly a teen again, with hair and everything! Happy days (football was mainly shite but what a place to be: Gallowgate scoreboard for me)

It won't be a couple of years imho. So this lad is more than good enough to be involved in the first steps we will be taking to rebuild and regenerate. This is going to be a long haul and a long period of reconstruction. This club has been underfunded and under developed for the best part of almost a decade and a half. That takes some time to repair, across all the aspects we need to be rebuilt on.

Was very very impressed with that lad Issak in the Euros. Huge future ahead of him. Maybe sadly too soon for us at the moment to be attractive to him? For me we certainly need to sort out full back areas, centre midfield and a striker who is fitter more often than not (and is some use). Bellingham is simply the future as far as i am concerned: awesome, awesome talent.

When was your last game and when is your next one?

Villa at home 2010 when we won 5/6 nil. Gave my season ticket up after Hughton was sacked and the Pardcunt came in. Not been back since, but certainly will be now! (If I can ever get a ticket) -
"We want to be great custodians of this club" "Its the fans club" "The club is at the heart of the community" "Newcastle United is the best team in the world" "We want to invest at every level" What a breath of fresh air. What a determined and focussed woman. Oh man if they actually 'get us' and if they mean what they say and actually practice what they preach.....

Howe as first stabiliser and builder of the foundations........ or if we are really going for it from the get go then Conte for me. Madness this like Actually mentioning these names and actually being a possibility not just fantasy!!

12 year old in hand .... Whisky obviously....not how our friends down the road would imagine that sentence. Enjoy everyone. Here's to the next years of our lives and end to the 'wasted years' for all of us.

Mate who supports the Boro is a tad nervous now Rumours Colin is on his way out of their....Not sure I would wish this on him/them!

Oh man the pride in the city in the Sir John Hall and Keegan years was something to behold. If we get that spirit again, coupled with financial sound backing and (whisper it) success...the city and areas around it will be buzzing

If we could have anyone then I would plump for Conte. But in all honesty a sensible appointment based on solid principles of running the club properly will suffice. Imagine it. A club ran WELL.
