I still don't trust one word of it. Actions will prove me wrong I hope, but I have an awful feeling our dear leader is once again having one of his moments
-
Not convinced or saying they will win the league But finish better placed than last season? They have given themselves every chance, which is surely what it's all about? improvement. No guarantees obviously but if you don't do owt then you can't expect to even compete, and that is where we are.

Worth a punt no? The odds will be good man. You never know. Everton have bought very well imo. Strengthening their 1st team and thereby their squad, backing a very talented manager with a structured plan to improve their league position..madness eh. Not sure where the negativity comes from for some of the signings they have made...are the prices over inflated, well yes they probably are but that is what is the going rate nowadays (sadly, for football in the long run). If we had bought any of those players I'm sure they would have been heralded as very solid buys by most. Meanwhile we scrabble around the bargain bucket, penny pinching and worryingly possibly alienating a top class manager in the process (of course that may very well be the imbecile who owns us full intention). A club of what should be similar stature to them behaving like a league one side.

Very well said imo. This mawkish intrusion into the grief and sadness of a family most have no connection with seems to typically represent the worst aspects of social media. Let the poor lad die with dignity surrounded by those who care the most for him.

Would make absolutely zero sense, for us or for the two players. How do some of these utter cretins steal a living writing for these shiterags? Undoubtedly one of the Custis cunts spouting shite as per for The S**?... (used to babysit for them when they were younger, well my lass of the time did).

Think the Sun (ugh) are reporting (loose sense of the term admittedly) Man U as being Harts destination if De Gea leaves?..Welcome to him as well, bag of shite.

I'm hoping its not just Dreams, and that we can get some quality players in, or I Don't want to know. -

Succinct and spot on. Or what neesy said

Better the 'devil you know' according to a lot of our fans. idiots If there is one person, one human being alive today, that is capable of the crass stupidity and ignorance to allow the chance we currently have at seriously re- building under a genuinely top class manager, then be assured that utterly cretinous, moronic, imbecile is Mike Ashley

Great performances throughout the games I saw of the tournament. Excellent save as well for that pelanty... Number 3 next season? Or out on loan again?
-
Ditto, far from being good enough but far from being the worst we have. Finding the Gouffran rumours rather worrying in all honesty.
-
Would be excellent signing.
-
Not sure I agree with that. Palace have a bit more potential in terms of developing and being a 'successful' side in the top flight. imo.
-
CH is one of the priorities imo. The 4 we have are not good enough, as paired starters together. Add an experienced CH alongside one of the other 3 and that makes us a lot stronger. Two new ones and it's all a lot better, in an ideal world. (maybe realistic over 3 windows) Hanley is not good enough and undoubtedly is on his way, with a big thanks for his efforts this season.

Apparently Gibson is going onto radio Tees with some sort of announcement. My Boro supporting mate reckons there are rumours he is putting them up for sale. Whatever you think of them he is by far one of the best owners, god help them if he does go.
-
He must be off? They have to recognise that he is a shot bolt? Pearson next season for them....
-
Some of the 'older' ones just seem not to have developed at all: Good, Vukic etc Can't believe we still have some of them on the books, assume we must be getting close to the end of some of their contracts.
-
Dianne Abbot is on the counter.
-
Was just looking at our players out on loan and in the U23 squad. God we seem to have had some of them for ages.
-
Both will have suitors in the Championship I would imagine.
-
Oh for Palace to be dragged into this

If Begovic is available he would be a cracking shout. Personally I think Hart is still way better than Krul (for me he is as good as he is ever going to be) and Darlow (at this stage of his career) so on a loan deal or reasonable fee I would welcome him as well. Around 10m for a good premier league standard keeper is canny value imo. Sales of Mitrovic, Colback, Hanley, Sels and maybe even Krul would recoup that surely? without putting a dent in the rest of the 60-70m?
-
I would think Rafa will have a new CH as his 'first' choice and number 1 target imo. Stable and strong leadership (to quote the mantra of today) I would imagine as his first priorities. Not saying we aren't in need of a new striker etc but I would imagine the deficiencies at the heart of our team will be his 'major' concerns (CH and CM). As for King, he is certainly better than we have so provided it wouldn't be silly money then I'm all for it. Ditto with Hart. Unfortunately wages are going to be an issue with a lot of players who would be better starting at a club like us rather than bench warming at City, Chelsea and the likes...but if you're offered daft money for doing not much work then who is realistically going to say no to that. Millionaires by their mid twenties. Happy days.

Is Conte not an admirer of Llorente? Markovic from Hull...is his loan now up? Not sure if they are looking to loan out again but he seems canny when on it. Bit inconsistent maybe but talented. Undoubtedly value in some loans that rafa can take advantage of I'm sure.
