  1. He's not amazing but this is getting out of hand. He was very good against Chelsea and against City in the cup. To suggest he's contributed nothing only weakens the argument. 2 games. Class Aye but we've only played half a season so if you extrapolate that over the course of a season then it's 4. And he was free, so essentially we've had 4 cracking performances for no outlay. Mackematics marra.
  2. Daft thing is that I'd be more than willing for us to give Palace £3.5m to fucking take him.
  3. Wonder if this place could beat the "most online" record if Pardew left. What happened on 15/07/2011 btw? Sammy Ameobi scored at Darlington in a pre-season friendly.
  4. This must have been how Terry Waite must have felt the night before he was told he was being released.

    Remy Cabella

Excellent, Pardew can congratulate himself for picking him if he scores. Or making him the scapegoat if we lose. Cunt can't lose.
  6. He was only bought to be sold, they all are. No point getting attached to any other player now or in the future, they're assets, bought and sold with the sole intention of making money. It wouldn't be as hard to bare if the money generated was invested back into the club to drive it forward but it doesn't. It disappears into the club's bank account so we don't end up like Portsmouth. We only exist to pocket the tv cash plus whatever we raise through peddling our assets on. We're no longer a football club, the club died some years ago.
  7. Not heard a single peep in the media about the shit run we're currently on. Not a single criticism about it, it's almost as if losing 4/5 off the bounce isn't even newsworthy - everyone expects it and absolves him of any blame. It's what Pardew has done throughout his career, it's the norm. Contrast that to the media furore when we actually won some consecutive games. Now that was newsworthy, that was the anomaly, that was the blip and that was news that made people take notice, it was a story. Listen folks, Pardew's won a few games, can you believe that? Not sure where I'm going with this but the inconsistency that good/bad results generate in the press boils my fucking piss.
  8. Aye, but who else could work for Ashley and do better though?
  9. Always plays well in games like these. Apparently.
  10. Darrell Powell was certainly a Derby player and famous for being a Reggae Boy in France 98. Might have been at Pompey before that. Ridiculous.
  11. You'll not get it like Billy.
  12. The obvious bet is to go with Man U -2 doubled up with Sunderland to beat Hull. The pendulum swings both ways after a last minute derby win. They'll be full of confidence and batter Hull.
  13. I know who it is but I've had to google the transfers. How you even remember the bloke I've got no idea, such a nondescript player like!
  14. Aye. He was always my first signing on every Champ Man cos he could play in almost every position. Fucker got an England call-up on the back of those 6 goals for Sheff. Wed. Fucking emergency striker knocked a few in - called up to play for your country. Criminal.
  15. There's a girl that's been on my mind. All the time,
  16. Scottish FA have knocked back Rangers' request to take Ashley's shareholding up to 29.9%
  17. Done on the counter attack again.
  18. The only possible thing that may work in Pardew's favour is the fact Man U could well rack 3 up pretty quickly then coast through the rest of the game knowing they have another 2 fixtures in fairly quick succession. -2 looks safe enough but thinking about it they may just swat us aside rather than batter us into oblivion. Happy days.
  19. You mean this one? http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/steven-taylor-asks-newcastle-united-8327537 Chronicle well and truly back under the sheets with Alan and Mike. Fuck me. Genuinely hadn't seen that particular piece of shit before.
  20. Have we had a "rallying call" interview with a player yet? Can't beat a good rallying call, especially when it's insincere and pointless. My money's on Taylor.
  21. Too ambitious. Seems to be the go-to excuse regardless of result or performance these days. Mongs buy it though so....
