Makes sense, Ancelotti to West Ham, McClaren to Newcastle, Allardyce to Derby and Carver to Real. #jigsaw

Exactly. Until he realises that the manager is the most important individual at the club and should be the number 1 priority when he talks about his "investment" we're on a hiding to nothing. Spending loads on quality players is completely negated by having a gormless c*** like Carver in the dugout working with them everyday. He simply doesn't understand. He's the type of bloke I'd imagine solves problems by throwing money at it and it doesn't quite work like that when it comes to running a football club. what always got me about Pardew and the 'transfer system' they have in place was that Pardew was always fighting against it as well...he was a somewhat competent manager (compared to say carver) but because he didn't believe in the system of being handed players he went out of his way to f***ing hamstring himself by either dropping them, playing them out of position, or forcing them out of the club....or all three then we get carver who will do what he's told so the system is irrelevant, he just happens to be utterly incompetent M'Biwa. Clearly never fancied him from the off and only played him when he absolutely had to. M'biwa didn't have the best of starts over here but there was no point in signing him if the manager was barely going to play him. Just need to get their heads together and talk it out. Then again it's all moot because under Ashley making a profit on players appears to be the main/only reason they come in at all. Until the needs of the team come before the needs of the balance sheet then we're all fighting a losing battle. Well, all of us apart from 1 individual... Except you can't generate profit if the players don't perform. Ashley's lost money on Santon, Yanga-Mbiwa and Ben Arfa, and probably stands to make further losses on Tiote, Gouffran and possibly Cisse. It honestly baffles me how Ashley continues to fatally undermine the importance of appointing a progressive, open-minded manager capable of working within the club's structures - it's essential, be it for getting results or generating profit off player sales The whole thing needs tying together to meet the needs of the team and squad. Parts of it are there but it's never going to work with a moron for a manager.

If he's actually serious, and I don't believe a word he says, then both Charnley and Carver will be both peddled tomorrow morning. The best money he could spend would be on appointing a very good manager and allowing him to bring his own backroom team in. If he somehow managed task 1 then task 2 is to shift the shite out to whoever is daft enough to sign them and spend significant amounts of money on all areas. We're about 12+ players short of being in a position to have a pop at the likes of Everton and Southampton etc. Failure to do these things (let's be honest, he's not going to part with much is he?) will mean another struggle to stay up. rinse and repeat until we drop. Any fucker can give it the big one in a 5 minute interview, it means nothing without actions.

Assist for Colback.

Sums up the state of us.
-
We'll start to sit deeper and deeper as the game goes on, Hull will score and we'll shit ourselves. We'll be camped in our own box for the last 5 minutes and Nolan will score in the last minute to send us down.
-
Scored too early. Can't see us hanging on to a lead for 35 minutes. Needed to score in the 93rd minute.
-
One more should do it.

More lies. No trust or faith here, he can fuck off the horrible cunt.
-
I actually think it will. Needs to be poisonous. Best of luck to the lads at AshleyOut today too.
-
If just like to echo this sentiment. I also hope he isn't assaulted and ends his day in the RVI. Would be awful if a daftie got hold of him and smashed the living fuck out of him today. Hope that doesn't happen.

9-2 FTR marra.

Fawdon, out of town.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in that particular meeting. Hear him try to explain the worst run of consecutive defeats in the club's history achieved by the cretin he appointed only 4 months ago. Fat little cunt squirming away trying to bullshit his way out of it.

Mentioned it before but Newcastle in the PL is giving me absolute zero atm. Getting nothing from supporting us the way things are and 'more of the same' doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Going down could provoke a bit of interest and feeling back I suppose. If we stay up then it'll be another year without any emotion being invested in the club. Honestly, genuinely couldn't give the first fuck what happens on Sunday, I'll keep my emotion for things that actually matter, certainly not these cunts.

You can still get 5/1 on us going down after the result tonight. Seems awfully large tbh.
-
p(safety) = 1 - p(Hull win) = 1 - 0.65 = 0.35 (2 marks)
-
They've put the points on the board, we haven't.

Nice sleuthing chap. Any decent badge/logo/crest on that bad boy and it's the best Newcastle shirt produced for decades imo.

No point being angry at Arsenal, a point is enough for them and a boring drab 0-0 will give them exactly what they want. We're in the shit because we're utterly shambolic and not because Arsenal are going through the motions.
