What the match in town at a pub? Where and from when? I don't know. I'm heading into toon for 3 to watch the game somewhere, I know taylor is as well. No bother. Maybe an idea to use this thread as a general "we're in place X, looking to move on to place Y shortly" as the day goes on and plans (inevitably) change a bit? I think it'll be discussed during the football and then put in place. I've sent you my mobile number via PM midds. Aye, just picked it up mate, cheers. I'll text you tomorrow as I'm not sure what i'm doing just yet. I'll be about though.

Assume not everyone is going to the match? What's the plans from 2pm to, say, 4.30 ish?

So cripplingly, predictably embarrassing from the useless cunts in charge. This mess is entirely our own making and I hope Forest dig their heels in. We're run by a pack of clueless, inept pricks.
-
Am I hearing this cunt correctly? We've out-worked all of the teams we've played? No, fucking dipshit, they've made us work harder because they've kept the ball better. They've forced us to run our fucking bollocks off getting goal side, chasing and closing down. They've ground us down and we've only won one league game in 30 weeks ffs. Wake the fuck up you dopey fucking wanker. "Look at the stats" he says. I'm looking at the stats and they tell me we're arguably the worst performing team in the top 4 flights of English football. One win in 15. One win in 210 days. 17 dropped points so far. In the fucking relegation zone. etc. But no, we've been made to run further so that's a positive to spin. Honestly man, this cunt will say literally anything to keep himself in the job he's incapable of doing. Utter scum.
-
Fort Cisse found himself in a lot of space today, he took up some good positions, showed great movement. Their defenders couldn't get near him.
-
HOW is he still here. That's shocking! Nicking that stat Midds. Sure it was HF's, but aye, it's fucking dreadful like. Worst thing is that win was obviously against Cardiff who aren't even in the fucking league any more. Genuinely don't know how much worse it's going to get before people change their opinion on the cunt.

Worst thing about all of these dopey wankers coming out of the woodwork and supporting Pardew is that loads of thick cunts will believe them. One league win in 210 days and they're still telling anyone who'll listen that he just needs more time and it'll turn around. I want all of these talking heads to be constantly reminded of the weapons-grade pigshit they've spouted (on demand from the club) once we're into January. Keeping Pardew equals relegation, we know it and we've known it for a while. The rank and file still haven't cottoned on as a direct consequence of these articles. They're working and it'll soon become too late to do anything about it, this situation will get significantly worse before it gets any better.
-
It will be turned on the fans for being negative. Where do we go as a club when the management is terrible and it's all blamed on the fans? A clear divide between the club and fans, with the club publicly blaming the fans for the club's demise. If we went down and that shit happened FC United of Newcastle would have to be considered strongly. The Championship.
-
Judge me after 10 games the cunt said. Let's just see where we are after 10 games. We'll be cast adrift and on course for one of the worst showings in PL history. We're going down in fucking flames and these thick cunts can't even smell the fucking smoke.
-
Was that Pearson? Fuck me, I'm that used to getting annoyed at Pardew for this bullshit, man. Ah christ man. I automatically assume any shit quotes in an article are down to him now - that's my default setting. Nnnnggghhhhh. Not apologising like.

“I am not here to be the players’ friend. “I am here to be the manager of the football club and it is my job to make decisions on what I feel is the best side to take on whoever we are playing. “We have the situation where, potentially, more players are unhappy because they are not involved, but that is a great position for us to be in because it means we have more players to select from and it gives us more options about how we set up." So you're accountable for the results and performances then you smarmy fucking cunt. You're the boss, the buck stops with you shitface.
-
There's that phrase again, "get that win". Win - singular. Win a game and everything will be ok again, the pressure will disappear instantly. As if 3 points at home to Leicester makes everything rosy again. Firmly believe they genuinely think the problems must of us can see don't exist. Fucking ostrich wankers.
-
The Warnock/Dyer thing rings a bell too. Remember hearing/reading lots of particularly nasty rumours regarding his health a few years back. It's a fucking horrible thing to do whoever it is tbh.
-
Point me in the right direction mate.

It would certainly send a message out to the fans. On the face of it the majority of home fans are giving the impression they're quite happy with things. There's the protesters who are trying to force change (fucking good on them ) and the rest seem ambivalent to what's actually happening in front of them. They're certainly not voicing their concerns or criticisms on any level. What else is Ashley supposed to think? He's under no pressure to swing the axe from the fans en mass.
-
Once the window closed on Sept 1st and Pardew declared how happy he was with the squad then it ceased to become Ashley's problem. The way Ashley runs the football club is a big problem, the way Pardew runs the football team is an even bigger one. I understand one has a bearing on the other but what we've seen on the park for months is 100% down to Pardew. The inherent failings of the football team are down to Pardew. This is his fucking mess and he's totally incapable of correcting it, he'll take us down unless Ashley acts.
-
Still get the impression that loads think we're going to be ok and things will turn. They won't, the future is now. “Things have to improve and they have to improve pretty quickly or we could find ourselves in a hole.” We're there Al. The hole was found some time ago and we're currently making a nice little nest at the fucking bottom of it. It's happened, past tense. It's going to get much deeper very quickly too. By the time the rank and file morons actually realise it, it'll be too late.

Think I'd have to go back to some of the better times under Eriksson for when I was last truly interested. Might be me tbf. Can't pinpoint the exact time of it but I simply couldn't give the first fuck about watching the national team any more. It obviously happened over the last 15 year or so because France 98 was special and I definitely gave a fuck. I gave a fuck when Beckham hit that free kick against Greece and maybe a few times after that. The 2006 World Cup was full-on dreadful, reckon I'd lost interest by then. Aye, I enjoyed the Greece game and the Germany 5-1. Genuinely struggling after that though....

Has watching England play always been this dreary? Seems like an absolute age since a really exciting, key fixture was played. Even the group games at the WC were shit.
-
Excuses won't matter if we are rock bottom and adrift of the pack. Fans will just stick their fingers in their ears and shout 'Ashley is the problem. What can any manager be expected to do with this team?' over and over. I'll raise you a "who would we get stuck with though"
-
Could that not be because how the team is set up? I don't see any players in the team looking comfortably positionally and one misplaced pass and the opposition is running at our defence whereas we have to grind teams down (doesn't happen) I think colback is a decent player and looking at performances one of our least problems with our biggest problems being a slow, positionally piss poor cb's (again pardew because they have such a high line for no pace), wingers that don't create, some players who don't care (sissoko) and strikers who look frustrated. The biggest problem is colback is trying to actually get on the ball but doesn't have the ability of cabaye so does a lot of simple stuff because he can't drive the team forward. Hardly worst player ever, just not world class What are his strengths? He only needs to hold his position and he can't do it. He never intercepts play he does slide people but it's chasing balls out of position. That's just basics 1. Good engine, 2. English, 3. works hard, 4. Geordie, 5. Grafts, 6. Canny lad.
