    Who could go...

Any of them if the price is right. [/obvious] Same goes for most players at most clubs too, all depends how desperate the buyers are to do business. If any of them do go then I also think we'll get top dollar for them but it's irrelevant if the owner is unwilling to invest the money back into the first XI. We've been here before and been left bitterly disappointed and the cynicism is justified.
  2. May be reading more into it but it could mean it's "sign it or go". Can't see Ashley sitting fiddling his thumbs whilst his contract ticks down to zero. If it's clear that he's not going to sign it then he's out of the door imo.
  3. I can't describe my anger at posts like this. Once bitten, twice shy mate. Completely understandable, if a little negative.
  4. No excuse for hitting the first man time after time like. Just kick it a bit harder ffs.
  5. Pardew needs to come up with something to solve the RW problem. Obertan has had his chance and failed (miserably). Either change the shape of the team or the personnel because the Obertan experiment ain't fucking working Alan. His stubbornness to see/deal with it is costing us points. He offers fuck all.
  6. Didn't do enough to win it. Had plenty of the ball but couldn't force it away. They were solid and compact but never threatened Krul. Not good enough and Pardew fucked the subs up. Again...
  7. Most definitely 2 points dropped that. Just not quite cute enough to catch them out but they were there for the taking. Need to bounce back against WBA.
  8. Gomez 1-0. That's about his 25th of the season or some shit.
  9. i'd guess 'his people' would want proof if we are saying it isn't going through due to a medical concern. No idea but I'm fairly sure that any 'deal' we had was always subject to a medical. If our docs have had a look and said they don't fancy it then we're within our rights to pull out of the deal. Whether or not it's justified is a bit of a moot point.
  10. If we've pulled out of the deal because of a genuine concern about his fitness then it's fair enough, we've dodged a bullet. If we've pulled out of the deal because it would mean Ashley actually parting with real cash then it's fucking absurd. The fact Ashley has only ever actually 'paid' for 2 strikers since he took over has me a bit concerned. (Xisco and Best btw).
  11. This is shite. The problem is trotting out bullshit opinions based upon sweet FA. If they think he's shite, have some basis/reasoning. They had none. They could've been right for all I care, but their original opinions were still baseless nonsense. Was taking the piss... More people should hold their hands up and admit they got things/have been proved wrong.
  12. Internet rules: 1. Never, EVER, change your opinion on ANYTHING. It is a sign of weakness which your enemies will undoubtedly exploit. Far better to doggedly stick to your guns even in the face of overwhelming evidence against your aforementioned opinion.

    James Tomkins

    Fucking aaaful player. Bargepole time.
  14. Shouldn't be rushed back under any circumstances. Although if Pardew does throw him straight back into it then Swansea at home is about as good as it gets for a returning game. Particularly if Coloccini and Tiote start too.
  15. Someone mentioned Villa earlier, reckon that's a good shout. Or maybe Fulham. Yeah, it'll be a sideways move if he's lucky. He's not irreplaceable but we'll need another one in if he goes this window though.
  16. Could be a case of the agent trying it on knowing we're short on defenders, trying to squeeze a few grand out of Ashley? Let's see how this pans out Danny... Wonder where he washes up?
  17. fuck. I think he's only as good as Messi. Move on. We're only allowed to compare him to black players*, remember? Edit: *Who are Arfican.
  18. To be honest if he isn't as good as Pele was then I don't want to fucking know. Not good enough for us.
  19. 99% of players are for sale if the bid is big enough. We also know from the Carroll affair that no-one, absolutely no-one, in that squad is here for good.

  21. Simpson Santon Coloccini/Perch R.Taylor. That's fucking ugly. Suppose Simpson and Santon could be switched without making much difference to the overall picture? This is incorrect because Pardew has already said Perch will play, meaning he wouldn't select Santon over him. It means Santon will either replace Coloccini or Taylor, I'm guessing Coloccini. Missed that. Ignore the above then.
