  1. That would be an utterly shit signing. Parker & Wilshere? Seems a decent enough base for the front 4.
  2. Surely they'll be in for Parker? Beef up the CM a bit?

Do you care to explain the reason behind your smily? Your post amused me. Dear Leazes Terrace resident, As you will undoubtedly know Newcastle United football club is constantly seeking to maximise revenue to fulfil the potential of this great club. It has therefore been agreed, with the permission of the City Council, to extend our East Stand to a similar height of our current magnificent Milburn Stand. This, unfortunately, will have some repercussions for yourself. We at NUFC appreciate your co-operation in this matter and as a result of the club moving the boundary of the new East Stand to within 14cm of your front door, the club has shown it's appreciation of your inconvenience by fitting this new stand with a glass roof so your chimneys can bask in the sunlight all day. Thank you and good day sir. Yours sincerely Derek Llambias Thats not what I meant. The East stand can be extended higher, but not as high as the Milburn stand. The only stands that could mirror each other are the Leazers and Gallowgate.. I wasn't being entirely serious...
  4. Got fined about £400k for going AWOL for the last game of the season didn't he?
  5. Said all along that he'd offer us pace off the bench if we're chasing a game and need a goal. That said, the likes of Marveaux coming into the squad offer that same threat but will probably have a better all-round game. Usually seemed to try his best but just not quite good enough to start in the PL week in week out. He won't be short of offers from the likes of Birmingham, Leicester and Cardiff etc.

Thank you and good day sir. Yours sincerely Derek Llambias Your post amused me. The building is owned by Newcastle University and is 97% student occupied, when they are at uni. The rest of the time it is vacant. Also, those front doors are mainly ornamental, entrance and egress are make by doors within the rear court-yard. Finally, there is no such thing as a 'Right of Light' so that would not hinder planning permission. Having said all that it is a beautiful looking biulding even though inside it is a rabbit warren of corridors and tiny bedrooms. It was more the idea that putting a glass roof on the top of the stand made it a goer. Never mind.

  8. Final installment if about £4m is due to be paid on July 1st too. They'll be hawking him all over Europe this week.
  9. He's putting money above actually playing, which is entirely his prerogative. It's my prerogative to call him a greedy, completely useless cunt for doing so. Get out of the club.
  10. And Guthrie replacing Gardner perhaps. Would make sense. He knows Guthrie and Routledge and the job they've done for him in getting us up. He'll have to put his own stamp on the squad so why not? It fits.
  11. Hopefully. I'd personally rather keep him for the time being but if a decent offer comes in he'll go.
  12. Routledge to replace Larrson on the right would be nailed on imo.

    Fraser Forster

Every single one of them has got a price tag hanging around their necks and unfortunately £1.5m is perilously close to Forster's. If they up it half a million he'll go. Fucking criminal.
  14. Poor Kevin, hoping for a return to the 'big time'. Keep your chins up mate.
  15. Criticism only hurts when it comes from someone you respect.

    Chris Hughton

Seems a good fit for club and manager. He's inherited a decent(ish) set of players although he could well lose a few more between now and Sept 1st. Jerome should do well up front and they're canny defensively. Tough league to get out of this season though and he's got his work cut out. Wonder how he'll get on in Europe.
  17. Fat-arsed, diabetic Bluto cunt couldn't find his arse with both hands. Wouldn't give a bucket of piss for his opinion on anything.
  18. Wouldn't be surprised if he's completely ostracised if he's got his heart set on a Bosman in a years time. Training with the kids, not given a number etc to let him 'know who's boss'. No-one's irreplaceable and no-one's safe. Least of all him, who's having little sly digs here and there at the blokes running the gaff. Hope it doesn't happen but can't help but feel he'll be a little scouse pariah in the dressingroom.
  19. Not sure which clubs are going to be interested in him this time next year tbh. He'll be almost 30, carrying loads of baggage from his past, bit outspoken and with a reputation as a bit of a handful to manage. Can't see them queueing around the block to throw cash at you Joey.
  20. Sooner he fucks off the better. Has precisely nothing to offer this football club any more. I'd offer to pay about half of his wages if he signed for someone else and got his useless arse out of the club. It would be £25k a week saved rather than £50k a week wasted on this knacker. don't feel sorry for him in the slightest. Rough calculations show he's taken about £11m out of this club over the course of the last 4 years. That's £11,000,000. He doesn't deserver any sympathy either. If it's cash he wants - he's got loads of it. If it's regular football he wants then why hasn't he already moved? Get the twat out of the door asap.

    Sunderland...

£8m is a bit on the high side but he's just as good as Henderson. Still don't know what Dalglish was smoking when he sanctioned that deal. Baffling.
  22. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. That's the spirit.
