  1. Realistically, I can't see anything happening soon. It's not like buying a packet of fucking crisps, is it? The new owners are going to wait til the price is at it's lowest and unfortunately the longer it goes, the lower the price becomes. I really fear that we've not hit rock bottom yet and it'll get a shite sight worse before it gets better. No idea what Ashley is hoping to get out of this situation tbh. He's taken a well-supported, solid Premiership club down a division and he's still not realised that he's never going to get his money back and the longer he leaves the sale hanging, the more he'll lose out of the deal. He's obviously not a thick bloke because he's made a billion quid but even a retard knows when it's time to put a coat on because it's pissing down. Just. Fucking. Sell. The. Club.
  2. 4 ITK's on 3 different forums. Don't go on KD's forum so I don't know what's been said there, but enough different people saying the same thing. Which basically is Huntelaar 'hopeful', Vieira practically finalised. Well if it's being said on football forums then it must be true.

    New Away Strip

It's still fucking rank tbh. If people like it then good on them. I'll not be buying it though.
  4. Huh? What do they prove by showing the punches.. why do they need to be shown. The Gerrard business is also a prominent story on every news/football website out there, and has been for days. However we do like to knock the 'bias' of the media now don't we. I'll be totally honest here - I've never liked Gerrard. Right from the start I thought he was a dirty twat who jumped late into tackles on opponents. He's since gone on to cheat on a regular basis for club and country. I think he's a detestable little fucker and I admit I long for the day he gets his comeuppance. I know he's a very very good footballer btw. It annoys me because no matter how much he cheats he always has a load of ex-pro's making excuses for him. He gets away with fucking murder in the press. And lo and behold it's happened again. He's admitted in court today punching the guy several times, he's been caught on CCTV doing it and he's still got retards cheering him as he's walking out of court. He's still good ol' Stevie G. Butter wouldn't fucking melt, diamond geezer Stevie G. Role model and top professional Stevie G.... It fucking sickens me that he's likely to come out of this no worse for wear. He'll swagger out of court a convicted thug and he'll still he hero-worshipped but mongs in the media. Hes a fucking cunt and I hope life gets him back in the end. Fucking karma, man. (Sorry Cath)
  5. Don't be so hasty, hold out a while longer and you might get £590 out of them. They'll cough up in 2010 too.
  6. Foster's looks like a proper football stadium. Big, imposing, modern, swanky ground for the best team in Europe. The second one is just pie-in-the-sky stuff. Never going to happen.
  7. The bloke gets elbowed by Gerrard's mate first. Then Gerrard shoves his head down and smacks him 5 or 6 times uppercut stylee. The news last night froze the CCTV just as Gerrard was about to throw the first punch interestingly. Almost as if they didn't want to expose Gerrard's twattishness to the nation.... Can't believe the easy ride Gerrard has got over this by the media. Can think of several footballers who would have been smashed by the press on a daily basis had they committed the same crime. Double standards all'ower the parish.
  8. Would look better if it had lots of black arrows all over it.
  9. At least quote the full sentence, those first 7 words are clearly important to the context I did quote it. I just highlighted the part where he said he had to get away from the club...which directly contradicted his first sentence. You highlighted a bit that looks bad when done so, the full sentence clearly states AS THINGS STAND......which anyone can see is a fair thing to say. Would you stay if you were him? He is clearly saying he will only go if this cant be resolved not that he wants to. I'd keep my trap shut and I'd continue to do what I was being paid to do whilst things are still in limbo. I wouldn't go running to the Sun with an EXCLUSIVE interview either. If I wasn't happy with how things were developing behind the scenes I'd hand a transfer request in. Are you for real? He wants the CLUBS position sorted. Where is the bad in that? We all want the club's position sorted tbh. I'm just saying that while he's here he should shut up and do his job and, if he doesn't want to be here, then ask for a transfer and go. Nothing more. He's putting pressure on Mike Ashley and I for one don't mind that. The only thing I don't like about these interviews that our players are giving is their lack of action in going and knocking on Ashley's door to demand him sorting this fuck out. As much as I understand his frustration I don't think it's his responsibility to publically put pressure on Ashley. I just expect players to stick to playing for the club and let the hierarchy to sort that stuff out. We all know Ashley's a knacker and couldn't find his arse with both hands. I also expect him to continue to bollocks things up but I expected better from Beye.
  10. Totally disagree. I suppose I'm probably a bit old-fashioned in that I'd much prefer to keep things like that behind closed doors and away from the red-tops. Wash dirty linen in private and all that. Never mind.

  14. I said if he wants to leave, he should put a transfer request in. Personally, I hope he stays because I think he'd be the best full-back in the league but if he doesn't want to be here.... He's made it pretty clear he wants to stay imo. He just wants things sorted, same as the rest of us. That won't happen and he'll be forced to walk away - that does not make him a cunt, greedy or any of the other disgraceful things he's been called over the last week. It all simply comes back to the fat slug at the helm. I thought he confirmed he wanted to leave, hence the thread title? We all want things sorting out but he's under contract to the club whereas we aren't. He's got a choice - he can either knuckle down and do what he's being paid handsomely to do or he can leave. I'm just saying that if it' the latter, he needs to do things properly. I've already said I want him to stay but I wouldn't want him to stay if he's going to twist on all the time. He's either part of the problem or part of the solution. "I'd like nothing more than to stay and help the team get back to where it belongs but there is no chance of us being promoted the way things are going. "Training has been good and no one is slacking or taking it easy. But there is a sense that everything is just drifting." "This cannot go on, it really can't. I feel for the good of my career I have to get away because it is dragging me down." What he wants and what he might have to do are clearly two different things. Like JJ says, why would he put a transfer request in when Shearer might take over next week and he gets what he wants? The fact is that if we're only going to have players on the books who want to be at Mike Ashley's Newcastle United and feel their career can progress here then we're looking at two sets of players - the wastes of oxygen we've already got on massive wedge and utterly desperate shite from divisions lower than the Championship. I'd rather Beye was unhappy than not with the way things are going. I don't give two fucks if he's getting involved in fights on the pitch - I'm just living in hope that he's keeping in practice for the next time he sees Mike Ashley. So he wants to stay but he has to get away? That's my point. He's got a choice - he's either with us or he wants away. He needs to make a decision as he can't have it both ways.

  16. Do you want me to close the forum 'til something concrete happens then? People are just giving their opinions man...
  17. I don't. That's why I used the word 'if'.

  19. Maybe he does want to stay but wants a contract extension? Something I'll bet Shearer privately suggested he'd be getting if he was put in charge. Shearer had ear-marked Beye as one of the three players he wanted to re-build around, but now we have Chris Hughton handed the reigns with no clout and no respect from either directors or playing staff. If the goalposts have been changed then obviously players attitudes are going to change as well. Give Shearer the job tomorrow and this will all be sorted. If he's asking for a contract extension (presumably on better terms?) then he couldn't have chosen a worse time to ask for one! I do agree that the appointment of Shearer would calm a lot of this fuss down. It would settle most of the players and allow us to function like a normal club. We don't know exactly what's going on behind the scenes which means we're all jumping to conclusions and joining the dots as we see them. That said, if he's negotiating with other clubs behind the club's back then he's a twat. Just like Given was a twat for doing the same thing in January. If a player doesn't want to be here then that's fair enough - I wouldn't be too surprised at all. But if they do want out then do things properly and ask for a transfer. I'm just asking for a bit of honesty from him, and the rest of them for that matter. A bit of honesty from Ashley wouldn't go amiss either...
  20. If he doesn't want to be here then he should do things properly and hand in a transfer request. At least N'Zogbia and Milner had the decency to leave the club in the right manner. I'll be sorry to see him go (and hopefully he'll stay) but if he's not 100% committed to the club then it's best if he pisses off asap.
  21. I'd be astonished if City are finished spending yet. I reckon they'll get 2 more in before September, sack Hughes before Xmas, appoint a much better manager and buy 3 more big names in January. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they reeled in Arsenal this year to finish 4th. Nasri's out, Adebayor's gone and Fabregas could be next. We'll see.
  22. I'd have serious reservations about using the useless twat as a fucking draught excluder tbh.
  23. Yeah it was a real nightmare beating Spurs, Reading, Fulham, Sunderland, Bolton. We didn't beat Bolton under Keegan, did we? It was 0-0 imo.
  24. Can't believe that La Bonbonera (the chocolate box) hasn't been mentioned yet. Fantastic stadium. http://www.fascination-stadium.com/images/bombonera.jpg
  25. Selling Adebayor might just come back to kick Wenger in the bollocks come May. If City click then they could pip the Arse for 4th and his goals might be the difference.
