You'd think he'd just want to protect his investment wouldn't you? Not sure he's in any position to just fuck this club off like he's claiming he's doing. Just don't know what to think or where this club is headed tbh.
-
Anyone who buys the club takes over all of the current players contracts and any liabilities. I'd be surprised if anyone has a nibble at us. Even for £100m. The club isn't (currently) worth that.
-
XXXL Sam? My apologies. A decent manager.
-
Don't care how long it takes - just get the club sold so we can move it forwards. If it takes a year or two to get things turned around then so be it. Just appoint a manager prepared to see it through and re-build the club from fucking scratch.

He's just given him a bit of discipline that he never had at Everton. Fergie knows what he's going to get from him out there but can still change the game by switching him upfront without using a sub.
-
Aaaaaand we're off...
-
Well the people bigging Chopra up can forget it. He's on his way to Cardiff to make his loan deal permanent.
-
So quite a few rags have come out with similar articles at exactly the same time?? Someone's been talking.
-
This.

Aye, that irritated me as much as Sky inventing top-flight football in 1992. It's the European Cup. Always has been always will be.
-
Prefer the old Rooney. But take your point. The old Rooney was raw, unpredictable and spontaneous. Not the things Fergie likes in a player. He needs to know what he's going to get out of a player and he's moulding Rooney into exactly what he wants - a player who is capable of playing really well in a few positions but who he can unleash a few times a season.
-
Still the brightest young English talent we've produced since Gazza imo. Ferguson is trying to 'round' him like he did to Andy Cole but he'll end up a better more consistent player, if less spectacular.
-
Pretty emphatic that like tbh. Barca controlled the tempo from their opening goal to the final whistle and passed Man U to death. Thoroughly deserved.
-
That's something he had to do. He had to apologise and acknowledge that he'd fucked up. It won't change the past 2 years and it won't get us promoted back up but he's held his hands up. Now hopefully he's learned from his idiotic mistakes and knows what has to be done. Getting Shearer onside and giving him free reign to rip it up and start again is the first step. Now he's apologised he has to follow it up with positive actions. He can start by slashing ticket prices, refunding a bit to the 3-year ticket lot, peddling the big earners and sticking his hand in his own pocket to bring a few good players into the club to replace them.

Got to be a better option than what we're going to be left with after the shitehawks leave.
-
Of course,it could happen to everyone, including S.Taylor.But its still nice to know that he has the heart to the club. Absolutely. Just pointing out that the decision to stay or go isn't really in his hands. He can say whatever he wants, the stark reality is that he'll be sold regardless if the money's right.
-
Good on him for saying the right things but surely everyone must realise that he'll be sold if a decent bid comes in for him?
-
Is that a joke? God I hope so. We need someone to do what Morgan does for Sheff Utd is how I read it. And he's spot on too. We need a true leader in the back 4 to organise things and deal with the physical stuff we're going to encounter. To pretend we can just keep the same squad and just play our way out of the division is pie in the fucking sky. We're going to have to fight tooth and nail to compete.
-
Christ, that's only 3 weeks away.

We definitely need some sort of brick shithouse (or, alternatively, someone who is capable of defending) in the midfield... but i mean, wouldn't signing a load of cloggers - like you've suggested - simply be succumbing to the league we're in? I know i'm in danger of contradicting my previous post, but surely it's a bit of flair and 'magic' that shoots teams up the Championship? A la Swansea (i think ). It's a physically tough league and our pampered little fannies would get rolled over every week. Gutierrez et al will get kicked to bits every week and we need to be strong and organised just to compete, let alone push on up the league. An extra 8 games this season and no room for passengers mean the emphasis is on graft over guile. Gutierrez got kicked to bits in a few games this season but it didn't stop him coming back for more. We'll get kicked off the park every game next season though. We'll be a prize scalp for most teams and they'll look at exploiting us being soft as shite from set-pieces and being and a shambles at the back in open play. We need to rip it up and start again.

Never looked like a £10m striker and won't miss him at all tbh. He's had the odd flash of brilliance and scored some important goals but never really did it. Running about like a headless chicken doesn't warrant £70,000 a week imo.
-
We'd need some big, hard, horrible bastards to get us back up. Fuck guile and craft, we need a bit of backbone or we'll get turned over every week. The rules have changed and we either adapt or drop again.
-
Basically they screwed us. We payed the money and we have to take whatever football they give us. No refunds or a sorry or nowt. I want at least £50 back as a goodwill gesture. Good luck with that.
-
Can't justify keeping him under any circumstances tbh. He's a washed-up, over the hill, 30 year old wanker taking the better part of £65,000 A WEEK out of the club. He has no future at this club and I'd give the hopeless little prick away to whoever is fucking thick enough to take him on.
