Spoke to my Norwich mate yesterday and he said apart from Forest away they've had some relatively easy fixtures. As long we keep the momentum, a dip in form is a few times in a season is still normally good enough for automatic promotion most seasons.

This game was similar to the one at SJP last season, should have been 2-0 at the very least, sucker punch goal. No matter what their form was, going to Villa Park and getting a point isn't the worse result. Test comes at home to Norwich and then a stretch of winnable games.

This! I'm a massive HBA fan but at the minute we need grafters and team players. HBA doesn't fit the bill, was great whilst he was here but he shouldn't return.

Have to pinch myself everytime I see Rafa Benitez (Manager of Newcastle). Literally wouldn't have any other manager in charge of the club, not had this feeling since Keegan/Bobby.

Hope he starts Lazaar against QPR, his speed helps him when he gets caught out but definitely one of the weak links in the starting 11 yesterday.

Evidently he looks miles fitter on the pitch and is effective for the full 90, rather than just 65-70.
