Just got back and missed the game. Who were the stand out players? Did Bruno boss the midfield and dictate possession? Sounds like a comfortable win overall.
The gulf between Liverpool and Man Utd is crazy. Was like men versus boys tonight. Man Utd are a joke and seriously need a massive haul of players in the summer.
Absolutely hilarious for the rest of us in the league watching that.
WUM surely? I loved the way he used his experience to ensure the contact was made by dragging his heel along the ground. I wouldn't call it diving as such, more experienced and smart thinking.
Danny Murphy is talking a load of nonsense when he said Dan Burn led with his elbow as well and was just as bad as Harvertz. Burn’s elbow is in line with his shoulders where as Harvertz is clearly way above his head.
That was also the week after Bruno Fernandes scored the most blatant offside goal versus Leeds you will ever see. Thought the bullshit decisions would stop going against us with VAR but obviously not.
Quality goal but we were clearly screwed over by 2 big decisions that game. With the team we put out today, maybe more of a morale victory. Hopefully we bounce back strongly against Everton.
