  1. we don't. Anyhow, you left a comment on the article, if its such tosh, it isn't worth bothering, surely? I never said it was tosh. It is just the latest in a string of digs at Newcastle in this rag which - literally - goes back more than a DECADE It doesn't matter if you regard it as tongue-in-cheek (I regard it as intending what it achieved - to annoy many fans unnecessarily) you don't see similar articles against other so-called big sides. there were plenty about leeds when their slide started. would the originator of the thread please add a poll to see if the consensus is one of parodied compliment or slagging off.
  2. You read what you want to into it. I p[ersonally find it repellant how desperate people like you are to "see the joke" 5ft 2 i reckon. what say you iceman ? Sounds about right to me. Napoleon syndrome. It's not big, and it's not clever. My...they'll be snogging and groping each other next ! at least it brought a smile to your little chubby cheeks. Do I detect "tiny penis" syndrome ? The kind who lectures others, sneers about the shortcomings of others, buys biggest car he can afford, and is forever telling others how "small" or "short" they are (even when they're taller/bigger than they) Well sorry to tell you your "penis extensions" are showing in your postings ! what you detect is someone who will debate things then will take the piss somewhat if the other debater goes over the top in their declerations.

  4. Oh, it's just good clean insults eh ? After all, how dare I defend Newcastle fans against a sneering article in a paper KNOWN for attacking NUFC ? about now i can't decide wether your going way over the top is a piss take parody aswell.

    RIP sale thread.

might take the kids out for their dinner somewhere. I expect to take my family out for dinner some time in the next two weeks. Got at least two firm bookings and I'm just waiting for proof of funds to come through.

  7. and quite a few who are not too far behind. the portuguese problem is that after the topo 2 or 3 there seems to be a big drop off.
  8. Angry ? No - I respond in kind - hadn't you noticed ? Short - Eh ? What a dozy question. No. I suppose to some of you this is a "backhanded compliment", eh ? So that'll be a 'yes', then. To be fair, it could well be, who knows. I'm just not one to be getting my knickers in a twist over a newspaper article. No, but you and a couple of other people are attacking a fellow Newcastle fan who ISN'T amused - and being monumentally obnoxious and personal in your attack, in DEFENCE of an anti-Newcastle piece. What does that say about you and your fellow mouthies ? monumentally obnoxious ?..............good grief
  9. Angry ? No - I respond in kind - hadn't you noticed ? Short - Eh ? What a dozy question. No. I suppose to some of you this is a "backhanded compliment", eh ? And you are probably a bag lady. By all means, allow them to laugh at you if you wish, and do their work for them. Then ponce around trying to lecture someone else who isn't as amused as you pretend to being. that article isn't laughing at us. it says we aren't giving people what they wanted and hoped for by performing well.

  11. And you know this how ? Visit each individual PC or laptop personally, do you ? Make sure there isn't a copy of the Mirror ? Or is perhaps just an off the cuff comment ? Like mine, which you over-reacted to ? It's still an absolute joke of an article, mind. which was its intention. Many spiteful things are tried to be passed off as "jest" when they're meant alright. Even the act can be viewed as done just to get a response. Do you see such attacks against any other side ? Even Leeds didn't get this constant battering. leeds did get this battering when they first went down. maybe you didn't realise as like most you found it funny and joined in. it's a complimentary article dressed up as an attack, probably in parody to the usual attacks about us and you are getting angry cos you didn't get it.............................. and are probably short.

  13. some humourless people on here. it's actually quite complimentary and those that are getting their nicks in a twist need their filters re-adjusting.
  14. how many spanish teams lump high balls into the box from all angles as a standard tactic ?
  15. it's something a lot of people don't understand. the good teams defend as a unit off 11 and attack as a unit of 11. the attack bit may sound stupid but how often did you see schmeichel start an attack with good incisive distribution and if the defence has confidence in its keepers readfing of the game they are more likely to push on when attacking.
  16. possibly the same way a spurs fan would feel after signing bassong or we did after signing woodgate
  17. good lesson learned for the one under him. came out and tried to spread himself but should have now learned not to jump when the forward has the ball on the deck. don't see how you can include the pen either.
  18. yeah we used to do that...don't remember any complaints then mind.
  19. they can go to fuck. (buggered my accy tonight they did)
  20. Was there really a debate over it? It was so obvious it was a header back across goal from Shola for Nolan Radio Newcastle said it was Shola's for a while. think of where the commentator sits and also that they said they don't get replays on the monitors.
  21. Absolutely ludicrous. And I think he's s****. Just my opinion I guess, but my reasoning for this is that he was the biggest constant in the team all season. Don't think he was ever left out of the team despite some truly abject performances. Secondly, playing in the centre of midfield he negatively affected both our attack, with his wretched passing, and our defence, with his woeful tackling and positioning. This is truly how I feel about it. My opinion like I said. I'm really really worried about what role he is going to begin to play in this team, especially as he will no doubt be keeping out a better player. i said quite often last season that he was trying to play it simple in a team with no movement. thast is bloody awkward. the ammount of times he looked at guthrie or nolan to go forward and ended up having to try and reach the edge of the box himself as cannot, frightened and dares'nt wouldn't go beyond their 10meter circles. good for us in this league mind if the drop makes nolan and guthrie feel more confident and will try to move.
  22. hows that ? we didn't have the money to provide what he wanted,he walked. why couldn't he cut his cloth like the every other manager has to ? how,-- gratuitous indulging in Keegan bashing, then he returns , we are good,= they are twats. come on you understand this. it doesn't matter who the person is i'll slag them off when they do something to be slagged off for and applaud accordingly when they deserve it. i'll not defend someone to the hilt without evidence especially if i know they have previous. Praise the lord, sense at last. What's Keegan done he should be slagged off for though? Yeah, yeah he should've stayed with a lopsided squad when his pleas were going unheard. - Walked out on Newcastle, had to be persuaded to return - Walked out on Newcastle again - Walked out on Fulham - Walked out on England - Walked out on Manchester City - Walked out on Newcastle again. Regardless of what he has achieved, we can't just ignore the above. Bloody hell, 'we cant just ignore the above'. He was at Man City for about 4yrs? His contract wasnt going to be renewed and things went flat, so club & Keegan both agreed to part company a few months before that. The club wasnt renewing his contract which was running out in a number of months time. Yet you put on 'walked out on Manchester City' to use as something against him. according to him his contract was going to be renewed but they wanted him to sign a longer one than he wanted. he said no so they said they would let him go at the end of his then it was mutually agreed he'd leave as he was a lame duck in that situation. he walked on fulham ? he left to take over the national managers job. that can hardly be described as walking away.
  23. would you have asked that last season ?
  24. 5 is the limit isn't it ? we already have one. 5 is the max we can have in the squad at match day i'm sure there is a limit to how many you can have on loan throughout the season.
