Darren Fletcher - Should he be able to play in the final?
madras replied to Liam Liam Liam O's topic in Football
good player, much under rated, shouldn;t have been sent off and the rule of no appeals is a fucking joke........................ but, those are the rules and the only time to change the rules is when it is fair and equal for everyone....sorry darren. -
he could be...........on the other hand he could be as much use as he has been since the day he signed.
-
he should have been sent off for his protests over the pen that wasn't given
-
that doesn't necessarily mean that the teams at the bottom of the list are less dirty. could just mean they control possession more so have less time in which to foul. however i totally agree about the sentiment of the post.
-
no. that type of thing only applies for european games where you have to nominate a squad. league stuff just comes down to being registered.

"not everyone"..."for no apparent reason"...too many switching negatives. theres vodka going on here dude. You're a canny judge of character, madras. i was meaning me on vodka and trying to understand it. but...hey ho. (smirnoff black if your asking)

he has the red card suspensio whatever the club do. the bowyer thing was totally different.
-
yes but really it's media friend shearer against universally hated barton.....and the tabloids still get their copy.

Based on the fact he wasn't over the hill, washed up, unfit or past it. Based on he could dribble, cross, shoot, defend, score goals. Based on the fact he could get from Point A to Point B quickly and without needing a wheelchair. Other than that your stats are probably very relevant. he could.....but rarely did. Well at least we have plenty of players with "nous" and commitment to put things right since his departure. thats "nouse"...."nous" is frogspeak i think. he was as bad as what we have. he may have more potential but i don't see it ever coming out. i've never denied he's got talent but in 3 or 4 years for us he never showed it. I would suggest he wasn't the problem though. i would

the way both teams have played recently i'd dispense with the 90mins and go straight to the coin. The coin toss would end in a draw. aye, we're both that crap, given the choice of heads or tails, they'd choose hearts and we'd go spades.

stuff the stats............just use his general overall performances (which it has to siad would fit in well with what we are now producing)

he should have been sacked the day he was convicted.

i'm all in favoyur of keeping things "in house" but with barton now being out for the season it's more a case of shearer stressing his discipline.
-
why would he be frustrated ? does that frustration make him do things like that ? can you see a circle forming ?
-
well he would say that, wouldn't he.
-
he didn't "win" the ball at all. he touched it before finding his INTENDED TARGET the player which is why he got sent off.
-
fixed it mate.

why if they clock the time properly ? For the same reason that time wasting is penalized in every other deadball situation despite the fact that lost time is supposedly clocked? but it never is clocked properly. if the timing was done properly and players were told from a point of the referees discretion they were considered to be in possession of the ball and gven 10secs to re start the game.
