  1. the main question is wether to play faye in the midfield or defence ?

    Keegan is

These two Baggio quotes sum up my feelings. This season has always been a write-off. Keegan will be judged on this Summer coming. getting the first will be the awkward bit, once players feel things are happening here good enough players will come. i'm more worried if we'll be prepairing for a promotion campaign
  3. hope so,enrique done well against ronaldo down there (didn't ronaldo swithch wings at half time ?)
  4. he is,i'm one of those that always say that. however i think he has more to his game than lennon.
  5. Think his true value is about £8 mill but i'd be expecting a whole lot more if we were to ever sell him (seeing as he's still young and more importantly English). what does the "english" matter. ?....i'd value n'zogbia at more than lennon.

    Stephen Carr

because he doesn't know much about enrique and to be fair carr had played ok for keegan so far.....no excuses for keegan to play him after today mind, though i think n'zogbia will be left back for the foreseeable future (wrong choice in my opinion)
  7. He's better on the left IYAM. Better than Duff or N'Zogbia, IYO? he was last season

    Stephen Carr

For me it is because Enrique seems to be a slow, one footed plodder who has great difficulty in reading the (English) game. Whereas Carr has deteriorated into a slow not quite as one footed plodder who can at least read the game even if he is off the pace. This just gives him the edge IMO. N,zogbia will have to play their next week. Doug. the difficuilty enrique has is reading what his defensive team mates are going to do next. strong, rarely caught out of position, likes to actually link in to play, gives his wide man an option. n'zogbia cannot defend and doesnt help the winger, just piles on past him when HE sees HIS chance.
  9. i don't think he'll have the bottle to drop duff or n'zog so will play n'zog at left back. we'll see bey and faye start V man utd (not sure if faye will be centre half or centre mid.
  10. Tbh to the lad he's on his 5th manager now at a poorly run club, this is his career and I know I'd be wanting out too. Surprised he has stayed this long to be frank. Same goes for Milner yet he just gets on with it. Diffrent class of player. ....potentially
  11. carr had done ok for keegan in beyes absence to be honest. be interesting to see who keegan plays left back from now on. enrique would be my choice.
  12. i think today may have seen (injuries to others permitting) the last appearances of alan smith and steven carr
  13. check the match threads from before he got sacked,my oqwn favouritye was sunderland away...left midfielder at left back, right midfielder at left midfield, centre forward at central midfield, central midfield at right midfield and centre half at right back.(i think only duff and ramage were injured)
  14. no,when asked if he could sign anyway he sid "henry" then talked about his play for abit...thinking on his feet i think.nominate someone classy but who wouldn't come,is too old and carrying an injury...just giving an answer without unsettling anyone basically
  15. do you lot really think he is going to say "oh him, don't fancy him,any offer in the summer and he can go" about any of the playing staff ?
  16. toons taylor in good idea shocker Said it several times on this site tbh. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=44151.msg966515#msg966515 > toons taylor in boring repeating the same thing over again banging the same drum type thing non-shocker. satisfied ?

  18. Thats the 60's, not 70's. EARLY 60's at that. yes the music is but not when they played it at the match for example they recently played "if the kids are united" by sham 69 but it isn't 1978. i never set foot inside till 1974 and i remember it from going with my mates so that'll put it relegattion season or the year after.as my mate has said it used to come on practically as the turnstiles opened
  19. Did I not hear David Gold saying 20 out of 20 were for the idea. Is it any wonder no kids play football any more? Honestly. What a load of old s**** the game is nowadays. Every day I fall out of love just a little bit more... to be honest i fell out of love with the game a while back. i have partisanship to my club and little time for anything outside that. i only have intrest in games that affect my club or i have money on them
  20. they'll probably seed the places given to the matches though. man utd V anyone in new york or tokyo wigan V boro in darfur or kandahar
  21. "peanut aggro peanut aggro ello ello" V chelsea alfie peanuts, who i'm sure still knocks roubnd westerhope

I think that's what he'll do too. Especially since I saw an article recently where he was saying he loves living in the countryside in the north west, doesn't miss London at all and has family in Lancashire. I reckon he will wait for United or Liverpool to make a move. even if the so called big 4 dont come in for him, bentley (serious injury providing) will not start september at blackburn

what rot ! if another club is interested and looks like it is going places even if not one of the top 4 yet "go for it" if none of the top 4 come in.
