lippi aswell OUT! cynical football under him
-
got to get in early or you get left behind
-
my guess is about 70%of the fans are asleep
-
someone was going to and i just wanted to be first
-
now now NE5, we dont know if AO was telling the truth do we? In actual fact, I think that someone who has his teams playing with intelligence, movement and a positive outlook, has a chance. He might surprise us. But having sacked Sam, I hoped for better. What i will be looking for is - how much they back him. That and that alone will tell me what sort of future we will have while they own the club. i agree 100%
-
grassroots called,he wants his blind optimism and humour back....he reckons you had it and lost it coach
-
if true i wonder how much he'll be backed in the market in this window and the summer
-
so really he got the boot for the same reason practically ever other manager gets fired for
-
aye
-
they're all (with the possible exception of taylor, given and harper) only here for the money
-
at what ? i don't understand you..you championed allardyce, wanted him to stay but see redknapp as a sideward step (though with a better style of football) you fell for the oliver story and built your own hopes up. looks like olivers made fools out of a lot of people this week. good work al

keegans odds now as low as 6's
-
oddschecker already has keegan coming in from 33's and 20,s to 8's and 10's (7's at ladbrokes buts thats no surprise the tight gets)
-
and it was his fault for appointing him in the first place
-
It was on Skunkers first, wasn't it? Dunno, post a link will you? I'm dying to know who the poster who put it on Toontastic actually is Just checked. TT were first I only said that in the hope that you'd actually check. I'm delighted that you did does it matter really ? it was all over the town by 5-30pm.

monday 11am after the story is broke in the sunday papers
-
next manager will die whilst in charge....no sacking, resignation or mutual consent
-
Agreed although if the rumours are true we will be looking for another manager in about a year I can imagine this is what living with Martin Jol is like. "Just got the nod, you've got fish fingers for dinner, can't name me source but they'll be done in 20 minutes" and when the plate arrives it's crispy pancakes
-
lippi at 50/1 with blue square (can get 66/1 at stan james) unlikely but at those odds worth a tenner
-
the thoughts in germany are that klinsmann got the best out of an already set up coaching set up and wasn't that astute himself. (the current german manager whose name i cant remember being the brains behind it) Rubbish. is it ? it's what i've been told and read thats all
-
yes but would you have been delighted if we'd won more but came out after every game like we did after birmingham knowing we didn't deserve it ? Chelsea fans were livid at our "ugly" long ball football we played against them, but we still deserved something. Results would have given him more time, taking a decent stab at it and not coming away with anything (like we did at blackbunr) would have given him more time. But about 80% of the time we were producing neither. got your point. i was meaning we can play ugly and still deserve to win. but like you say we were doing neither

can we not cancel this match what with all the "who's it going to be?" excitemnet going on ?
-
I wouldn't go quite as far as that, many fans will want to see instant improvement and/or progress IMO. Take your general point though. Any new manager is going to get a boost out of his players playing for spots etc. So whoever it is should have a bit of time to settle in on the new manager honeymoon. Remember Allardyce started out pretty swimmingly. the first half at bolton ?
