reckon we deserved a bit of luck in the draw after the group stages...........and as for AZ or the team who's fans want you to "eat crushed dog shit" it aint that bad as at leat 1 team in each pairing is decent throughout the draw.

why would bernard be in there are you blaming the physios for the gash in dyers leg,the kick to emre,n'zogs injury ?

theres the get out clause.it's not a first team game for us.

How many points will we get out of the next 7 matches?
madras replied to Leazes1986's topic in Football
don't see why we can't get 6points from watford and spurs and at least a point each from everton, bolton and spurs away. -
It's an odd thing because the movies and history actually interest me, but at the same time I could never even think of joining a firm. The concept is ridiculous and most of the members are equally ridiculous. I've read the books by Cass Pennant and I couldn't put them down, thought they were great insight of the lifestyle. He was a right mean bugger and told some harrowing tales. I suppose my interest mainly lies in why someone would want to join a firm? Which is still beyond me even after reading the books. it's quite simple how it starts....when you were younger did you ever snap when someone beat you at something and they rubbed it in.....it starts off like that then breeds. as for those books they are hilarious, they were all in the hardest gangs, all have stories of going away and being outnumbered 5 to 1 but sending the other lot running. away from the casuals etc there was a bunch of toon fans we knew as "the geezers"(we called them that, they didn't have a name for themselves as they werent a gang as such)whom i first came across about 1980,really 70's relics, never went looking for trouble but were quite active in defending themselves.,kept away from the buisier bars but a harder group of blokes would be hard to imagine

both robert's V spurs make them look like goal line scrambles

Hell no, it wasn't. Taylor's goal was pure luck, Essiens shot was simply brilliant. Taylor's goal for GotM. i agree, that he was possibly offside may count against him though :winking:

to be fair, emre does one or two of those himself!!

i'm told by all sourses how fantastic they are but I JUST DONT FUCKING SEE IT MESEL!

he's shit. He's the Spanish Stephen Carr. Since when has Carr been an integral part of a Champions League winning side? spurs fans will tell you that 4 years ago if it wasn't for this ,that, the other, and of course those they would have won the champs lge.

Quoted for truth and I think this can apply to that c*** Savage, as well. on one or two reprts n'zogbia could be in trouble...don't see it myself, wasn't a punch ,more of a push nowhere near faces, after provocation(look at the way he gets dragged up by neill and was it savage!!)

Not that I give a shit about this incredibly puerile argument, but you could point out that if the capacity is 36,000 and the average for that season is over 35,000, then it is pretty much safe to say that every game was either close enough to a sellout to actually be one (ie 35,900 is a sell out effectively) or there were games when away teams didnt fill their allocation. not really as you have to remember that because it is an average then there has to be a good few games where the actual attendance is below even that. But not that many, as the attendance can never be above 36000 - so for the average to be almost 36k, the lowest gates must have been still quite close to that, or the average would be much lower. If you get my drift. Not that I care about their attendances, my main objection to Spurs fans is one half decent season and they think they're Barcelona all of a sudden. you can use that last sentence for ecerton aswell.

about time we turned our mind to this one eh ?judging by this http://www.brfcs.co.uk/mb/index.php?showtopic=15501 they don't seem too confident, maybe not a game for the pursit. prediction 1-1

boring. you have too much time. he's right though, surely you can see that??? what i saw was taylor having a decent solid game, which he has most games. babayaro had another terrible game which happens often. last night?? we watched different games he won almost every header he had to and covered for ramage many times. if he wasnt there it would have been a hell of a lot worse. Bollocks, Ramage and Solano got Taylor and babayaro out of the shit more times than enough. Taylors little trick of pulling forwards down when they are running down the channels near the 18 yard line was in much evidence again last night anarl. Rose tinted specs because he's a local lad and not a foreigner with a funny sounding name. we will never agree on this. ive just checked on 2 sites which have given taylor 2 7's which to me represents a solid game. that whole "local lads" thing is partly true, i'd love to see some of the "foreigners with a funny sounding names" try as hard as the local players over the years (with the exception of shola) yes babayaro could give more effort but i'd rather babayaro as he is than ramage giving his all at left back.
-
another pointless argument, most just don't like babayaro cos he doesn't look like he gives everything and outside of world class performances they won't accept him. had ramage had exactly the same game last night the report would be "shocking mistake on the goal,ok apart from that" its hilarious that some are even trying to pass n'zogbias lack of form onto him.n'zogbia was our worst player last night but he's a crowd favourite.
