the biggest compliment he pays us is nothing that he says but by always feeling the need to put out a full strength team.

It looks like it's going to drag on once again, we'll never learn. just like the good old days eh. we might sign someone from Oxford as we are no different to then  And what would be wrong with signing someone from Oxford? Not enough of an "omg we just signed a world class playa" trophy signing? I'd rather us sign a promising Oxford youngster than an over-the-hill Barcelona or Chelsea reject living on reputation. i'd rather sign the player i thought was best for us.where from doesn't matter.

Bottomless pit of money obsession again. He also wanted Carr, and was given the money to buy Milner, Butt and pay the wages to Kluivert. Its called a budget. Macbeth and his monkey will explain the concept when he comes back as he surely will soon now the team has lost a couple of games, to tell you that we didn't even have the money for Carr never mind Miguel. The shite board spent millions before and after that summer. Damned if they spend, damned if they don't, as usual. We couldn't afford another £3 million for Miguel but at the same time we could afford to bid £23 million for Rooney? I was under the impression the Rooney bid was to be funded from some kind of special package via Banks that was available only for this special player. That's what I heard anyway, so don't ask me for a link and I'm not saying it is a fact. It is speculation. i was more under the impression that we "wouldn't" go another £3mill for miguel as opposed to couldn't. i think u may be right about the banks thing, i got told that northern rock payed for owen supposedly anyways pretty sure the transfer was accounted for in the clubs accounts.

roeder off picture.."nige ,think i've found the problem....not one looking at the ball"
-
dyer---"shit...is that bowyer behind me"
-
the last one on the top is an old notts county one
-
no 9 out of those.3rd one down the left.looks solid.the recent strips have been predominantly white.
-
so the other 4 spent and improved....bet they would say it worked.
-
thinking of the other leading prem scorers, cole, henry, fowler, ferdinand, fat eddie murphy,owen,yorke,wright....all were regular penalty takers,(probably andy cole taking the least),so if prolific means scorong more than everyone else, then aye i'd say aye he was prolific.
-
kicks aswell as most i'll assume points 2 and 3 are related.this is an old claim made against him and for me he comes and gets as many as anyone.the days when a schmeichael would dominate at corners/free kicks has gone and most prem keepers are a lot more wary of coming for crosses...purely on the command of his box issue,it's an old phrase and i dont think any prem keeper has done this since the aforementioned dane.

Is it scientifically possible to forget someone with such an amusing name? stefan kuntz hopes so.
-
couldn't even pick 3,chose given and cech as the only top quality keepers(and i know cech has a lot better in front of him i still think he is top quality)
-
interesting to see that roeder has been in the press saying that dyer is out of position when wide and is a through the middle player.......now does he mean centre midfield or playing off a forward and linking between the two, either way i wouldn't bet on all of butt, parker, emre and dyer being here come august
-
ooooooooh! he said he was surprised the team and ramage didn't claim...not it was his fault...keep going you'll get that job writing for the star.
-
as of now i'm starting a campaign......are we not allowed to be sarcastic on boxing day or something.MITHRAS
-
yeah i know and i can think of many at SJP that would have been the same, just trying to get the match in perspective.i'm actually looking forward to the rest of the season...IF we buy a good forward as we are tidy when in possession in midfield and aren't conceding a lot of chances(given has been underused of late compared to normal and its not the defence but the defending)
-
would it have been allowed on any ground had bolton been the away team ?
-
Are you actually trying to defend them or something? I thinks it's some kind of triple double wammy head bending wind-up He's obviously been watching AS9 today if you notice "abcdefg" is 7 letters ,so is "chelsea"................................. .....................so is "TWATTER"
-
just now on MOTD......i've got problems,no terry,no cole and shvechenko playing below what he can...................................................... ........FUCKIN "DIDDUMS"
-
i'd go with a midfield of dyer, butt, emre, milner and sibierski and martins up front. but i think roeder will bring parker in pulling either milner or sibs out, sibs out will put dyer up front, milner out will put dyer right and emre left..duff on the bench.not worth the risk with loads of games coming .
-
we could have had him cacking it or even made him not bother, good wind up waiting to happen..........far too honest some folk.
-
taken from ggchat.................if that is their line up i'm more confident than before.i'd think butt can tie up lennon and they'd push him back wide to get him some ball.we can dominate midfield and they have a lack of pace from huddlestone through to dawson and king.we can stop the supply to their forwards but be wary of defoe dropping off the centre halves with malbranque and ghaly both keen to push on. hope emre's fit, that midfield is made for him to play against. Yeah, and Lennon, Defoe and Berbatov are going to HATE the idea of playing against Babayaro and Ramage, aren't they. thats lennon in the middle,he'll be up against our midfield first and spurs problem all season away has been creating chances,i think our midfield is good enough to stop theirs. And we KNOW thats the formaiton they'll play? Even if they do, it's still going to cause us problems. We were lucky against Watfird that they weren't good enough to exploit the massive gaps Dire was leaving by wandering around, and we didn't need Martins to be linking up particularly well with the midfield for most of the game. Spurs will be different. My prediction: 0-2. thtas why i said "if"....even if not the formation the personnel will be largely the same.i don't think they have the strength in midfield to create enough....2-1.

i've been puzzled about it aswell...on your example page, following what you say on the bottom choice, tuckers bay,the odds are 160 if you fancy it,a rank outsider but if you fancy it not to win shouldn't the odds be a lot shorter than the even longer 180 ? tell you what,i'll buy the book!
