Thing is with those vids is they only show the goals and not the saves to balance things out. Coming out to feet was another area where Given was better (Pav was tte master though) and with the height thing does that mean shorter keepers are automatically less good ?
-
I know. He didnt though, he came for less than Pope but more than Ramsdale.
-
His distribution was better because he shit himself less so wasn't used as a ploy by the opposition.
-
In your opinion.
-
He did, not as much as Pope, was a better one on one keeper and as good a shot stopper, if not better. I'd choose Given out of the two.
-
Shot stopping yeah, all round goal keeping stuff, nah.
-
Alternatively the amount of times we held possession because he was capable with the ball on the deck and they didnt press cos he can play the ball. Ones a better shot stopper, the other is a better player keeper.....the long-term answer is probably neither.

An Osula who was bit more disciplined would do.

If we're calling the premier league era the modern era tgen both of those were better than Pope.

Or 9 home wins and an extra away or 8 and another extra away but even thats without anything that happens elsewhere. The only thing we "have" to do is gain more points than those teams ahead of us, there will be ups and downs for everyone yet.
-
I find that a funny way of looking at things, the idea we have to get 10 wins out of 11 remaining home, we dont ! We have to get 6 more points than the 6 teams above us for probable champions league and 4points for Europa.

.......shouting at Pedro.
-
Just listen to the reception he got when he came on V Fulham.
-
On the times he has threatened its not when pushed wide but when hes found the gap inside, between FB and CH. Hes not a winger in that sense and we arent hitting enough into that gap.
-
We also have 6 home games in January, including 4 off the trot in 9 days. That cant have happened too often.
-
I didn't, I think Burns sending off was very soft. Thiaw should've walked V Levekusen though.
-
Love his interceptions, the sudden burst out from behind who hes marking to nip in front and take the ball. Needs impeccable timing as its so easy to get spun when attempting it, got to read the incoming ball often before its played to ready himself and the player by him by at the same time.
-
From his performances so far hes more RB than CM but its a small sample size. Hes only 19, the game is full of players who moved positions and were better because of it even at later stages in their careers. Edit better still but rarer, those who excel in multiple positions.

FWIW Chelsea fans in the Bodega after the game thought it was just a shoulder charge in real time in the ground but all said it was a pen after seeing the VAR view

Is delivery not passing ?

Krul and Given both say "get tae fuck"
