Our physical presence in the box isnt from open play.
  2. As its going through a crowded goalmouth, being on your toes makes sense. Yes I've played the sport regularly, 11 a side until mid twenties coupled with 5 a side from mid teens to 35. Other sports all the while and have just given up Badminton due to tennis elbow at the age of 58....does that really matter ? , we've all heard Merson et al speak about the game. I'm beginning to see why you are so popular on here. I still disagree its a technique thing, more a circumstance thing. No doubt you'd have stopped it. Edit... I played in a Reds V Blues game when over 40.

    Joelinton

Seemed to start off ok, some nice interceptions and touch rather than power to keep possession then he just seemed to pass into nowhere whenever he had it.

    Jacob Ramsey

Alternative style leading on to replacement I think.
  5. The break and pass for Murphy on the left were top drawer as well. Shame it was Murphy there and not Barnes.
  6. The one time I dont go to the concourse at HT.
  7. Ive watched it laods as well, hes bouncing on his toes not wanting to commit as it goes between two players (one of theirs one of ours, Schar does actually go for it) then through Thiaws legs.
  8. You watch it again, his feet are bouncing at least twice after the shot is hit. The ball goes to the left of our first defender (can't make out who, think its Bruno) who kinds of thrusts a pelvis at it, to the right of an attacker who has to move to avoid it, then through Thiaws legs then past Burn..... but yeah he should just have flung himself full length as soon as he saw where the initial contact was headed. Edit, its not Bruno. Think it might be Schar.
  9. Any of those obstacles likely to move, swing a leg at it. Ramsadale does anticipate but because its going slow and at defenders hes anticipating the deflection not it trundling through. You see it often enough and like I said earlier, looks worse than it is from the keeper.
  10. How do you anticipate it when it comes off a shin and through someone's legs. Looks worse because it didn’t fly into the corner If anything hes anticipating it getting a touch off one of the many who should have and thats why hes late over.

If you were a "premier league fan" Id want you to stay away.
  12. Not many keepers can do it consistently as part of the set piece is to stop the keeper.

  14. People sleep heavier cos they've had a drink for the match.
  15. Could really do with early goals making it a stroll. Up for work at 3:30am so Id like to be able to piss off 10mins early.

I just look on XG as one of your mates who watched a game you didn't saying this team had loads of better chances than the other team. We all do it.

Didn't realise he was there. I dont think hes on the official match highlights with Raisbeck. I was looking forward to his reaction to Nicks lob.
  20. We done that in the 70s. Regularly fights in the Leazes between rival local gangs.
  21. Miley thinking "If I time this right I can put it right on Malicks nappa just as they finish"
