That may be in part down to our speed of breaking. I'm sure there was a stat about how we were quickest from winning possession to creating a chance and given that our XGa was high, that's not a bad thing. So overall possession stats isn't a great worry. More so is that when teams defended with a low block and broke well we struggled to break them down.

I was the opposite , though it wasn't as soon as that, but there have been on going situations and when I played I seemed to give it more, I found it easier to get to the point where everything was intuitive and free of thought . lve said before about using football (and music) as a respite, to remove myself from the situation temporarily and it worked for me. He may not be Longstaffs replacement as he plays more central and tge rumours from the club are that they want to be able to push Bruno on a bit so possible that Tonali would replace Bruno letting Bruno advance that bit more. Also it leaves a lot of room for rotation especially if the other midfielder they seem to want co especially comes in. Could well be a midfielder capable of playing further forward/wide.
