Joelinton will eventually be a squad player. He can cover a few positions and will give strength coming off the bench.
-
It's his playing out from the back which changed us more, his ability to retain possession meant we didn't ha e to go long. Bruno is the base or one of a double pivot for me. With more to aim for in front of him his accuracy if passing will come even more to the fore.

They did like, they even did when Shelvey was the base. They pressesd up depending on the opposition. Bruno was the least mobile to the point he scored 5 goals all from inside the box

I refer the honourable gentleman to the post 2 down from his post from ponalieus.
-
He's much more box to box for Brazil and I'm not so convinced we need a designated DM.

Definitely, right now the two positions that need upgrading are the two right sided positions if we play 433, Pacqueta imo can play one of those, we also have the option of a better 4231 with him, even a 451 if you will.
-
How many assists might they have had if Wilson played instead of Wood ? Pet hate that so much value is given to those stats. They are a tool but shouldn't be used in isolation.
-
Because of our position. We aren't in that position now. If we bid again we stand a very good chance of getting him this time which isn't to say we will get him, just that now we can go toe to toe with Arsenal when bidding for players.
-
Man City had a gap of 24yrs out of Europe, so obviously they can't say they are European regulars.
-
Does it not come from, so the story goes, we were after him and bid for him before Bruno ?
-
Disagree with that like. I think Pope is an upgrade but right midfield and right wing (assuming we go 433) are weaker positions than GK pre Pope.
-
Was it not the fella from Montpellier ?
-
He could easily play right of a middle 3 which is currently one of our two weakest positions.

Not according to Wikipedia.

We're all of African heritage aren't we, if you go back far enough ?

I'll tie that in with my earlier post about being very chilled with whoever we bring in because I can see that they know what they are doing even if it goes against my own judgement on the player.
-
Dunno, I remember the likes of Kompany and Viera being described as intelligent. Throw in Desailly as well.
-
I think that was true in the past, not so much now.
-
I'm a lot more chilled about signings after seeing what's happened since January not only with signings (bloody good though they've been, not just technically but psychologically as well) but with the players who were already here. We may be linked or even sign players I don't think will work but I'm happy to let the club (manager and whole recruitment team) as not only do they know better than Mr, they've proved it.

Am I the only one e who's never been that impressed by him. Not saying he's shite, just wouldn't excite me and certainly not at the price quoted.

From Gib. Never had a second team before, had a flirtation with FC Santa's Claus and Kalmar (because of their paur of pants badge) but come on man Brunos Magpies, they even play in Black and White.
