In a local Derby against a team in Liverpools position ?
-
To be fair I remember Eddie doing exactly the same at Anfield when nonsense injury time cost us.

Looks onside to me

Just done a little digging and the closest I can get is up to 2010 and our goal difference is +1846.
-
Hope I can remember that by the time the next pre match pub comes round.

We could be missing Gordon, Barnes, Botman and Burn.

Sprained Alice band.

I've said as much myself but the differences are now (or since Chelsea and Man City) much more stark. Blackburn are an interesting one e as they didn't spend as much as people assumed it was more that an unfashionable was spending. Yes they spent big on Shearer, Sutton and Flowers but the likes of Sherwood and Hendry were peanuts. Compare that with Man City and Chelsea

There's buying trophies and buying trophies though. Through the sports history the clubs with the deepest pockets have won stuff but it was really only with Man City and Chelsea that it became bottomless pockets.

Dearie me, oh what a shame.

Quality finish that, beautifully disguised.

Getting them is one thing, developing them is another. Hopefully that's all changed now.

For me it's the image of JT heading off to the changing rooms, opening his locker there and reaching for the top that he puts there every week and doesn't use........"It's time".

I dont know what I'm doing. What I'd love to do is watch it in some cosy country pub out in the wilds that has about 6 people in that aren't interested in it but be able to get back into the city centre within half an hour if we won or stay in my cosy isolation if we don't.

It was very funny when it used to happen to Craig Bellamy.
-
Hope his song gets belted out next home game.

Klopp didn't when they were doing well, the odd defeat he was magnanimous with. It was when Liverpool struggled for a bit that he became such a whiney twat. Exactly like Eddie didn't last season.

Ray Kennedy Shirley?

Their spending in January suggests, to me at least, a transfer ban, points deduction (possibly suspended) depending on their league position and a fine which won't bother them at all.

Plans for the cup final ? Which one ?

Beat me to it. It was David Speedie that kicked Brock. My only trip to St Andrews, a chavvy team with chavvy fans, scrappy 3-2 win we just about deserved with them forgetting about the ball at times. Nowt changed. Stan Seymour died down there that night.

If they'd lumped it from the FK and equalised he's on for extra time saving the extra sub window for if it's needed. They lump it and don't score, he walks off after 30secs.
