puzzler to me, looks OK, not great though. in Scotland, not so good in Europe. Sure there's better out there at a similar price.

Summerhill school ? He probably likes the anarchy, reminds him of Sunderland.
-
Summerhill is what Brummie is looking for. Edit, then again it sounds a bit like West Denton from the description, teachers being bullied etc.

Yup, but I'm really thinking Perez is better suited for a style of play. Although I'm a massive fan of De Jong, mind you. I think he's an absolutely deadly footballer when on form -- I just think Perez's silky smooth style, technical ability and goal threat (with far better pace than Siem) is what we need in that role. This is where I'm at at as well Same here, I'd put De Jong in purely on experince but wouldn't mind Perez in that role. Don't mind between Anita and Colback (may well be one at home, the other away though if we could get someone like an Alex Song) and do think longer term Wijndalum will drop into that "2"

He wasn't very good, he was OK, you're right about the determineds though. I'm not determined to hate him. I hate him. I can't understand how anyone can give him the time of day after his celebration/photo antics with the mackems the other year. (Cue Ian screaming that this shouldn't be held against him.) If he was a tremendous talent I'd ignore all that in a heartbeat but he's not. He's bang average at best and I don't want him playing for my club. I'd have done exactly the same as him in the derby game, loads of people calling you allsorts of crap then you get a chance to turn it back, f***ing right I would. Yeah like after taking loads of shit and presented with a chance to give some back you'd say "Ooooh no". In that game he got more stick for being a local and got a chance to ram it back. Pisses me off fans who think "I've paid my money so can shout what I want" but get pissed off when a player celebrates, grow up man, it has to cut both ways.

You absolutely do not rub it in like he did then pretend to be Mr Geordie when your club picks you out of the bargain bin. How did he pretend to be Mr Geordie ?

Prevented him playing a more agressive game ? Did you not see the elbow ? However, we didn't play to him and the challenge, if reckless, was understandable. Young powerful player who'd been told all week that they'll try and kick you and bully you, no surprise he goes over the top. Got to learn though, he'll not get away with it anymore.

Wasn't lazy, he just doesn't have a football brain.
-
Harsh, he was as good as Anita today, although I'd be looking at strengthening that position before a forward (that counts for Cloback, Anita, Tiote and Abeid)
-
Away from the challenge, we didn't exactly try to supply him.
-
"the mong" why ? thats shite craic.

This and to drive at pace at a full back who'd been booked. I thought Obertan had a decent game but not having a go at a full back booked early on was his mistake and the teams tactically. Spent too much time getting the ball from Haidara with his back to the full back and being held up rather than getting the defender face up.
-
Well if they do they'll have to do Lovren aswell (just highlighted on MotD)
-
Didn't realise at the time how bad Janmaats defending was for that.
-
It's not as if we were beaten for height, You can have 6'4 centre halves that will concede if they aren't in positions to even challenge for headers. Hopefully it's a sharpness thing and will come but the amount of free headers they had in the box was frightening.
-
What league do they play in ? Sounds Greek. Erroneous 1 Ergotelis 2
-
I dunno about that, seven league goals in five years. Take it back then, he's just plain s*** How about, he got a few games at Man Utd so he must be OK ?
-
Aarons for Perez and I'm with you.

there's currently three ahead of Williamson though, if cisses sold Austin is pretty much essential. A forward is, not necessarily Austin. A proven PL goalscorer is. I don't see an alternative. Doesn't have to be PL. What I mean is we have athrough the middle, gets on the end of stuff striker already. I can't see those two striking up a partnership so I'd rather, if we are buying another forward, buy one who maybe more rounded than Mitrovic, capable of playing the supporting striker etc.
