  1. out tonight so i'll not be monitoring the scores live so a four timer of ......... citeh twente bruges (laid) barce.
  2. it was because of barce that i didn't want to touch arsenal today.
  3. leeds 0 swindon 3 thats a collapse and a half.
  4. Good description. Mr Hyde is a better description. Jekyll is meek and mild, Hyde savage and takes no prisoners. I'd say he'd got it spot on. jekyll is a doctor and some use. hyde is a horrible twat.

popped into the jingling gate ,westerhope. no-one had the glasses on and all the teles just had the normal pics on.
  6. and theres have had a week off and have a week in ibiza to look forwrd to afterwards ?
  7. except it doent really matter. all harry has announced is the hutton is for sale (and that knocks the price down). if we offer less than another club and the player wants to come here then spurs have the option of acce[ting our price or keeping an unhappy player....if he wants to play it that way.
  8. Also says the senior vangard of players that have taken efforts to right the dressing room are Nolan, Harper and Smith... no mention of Butt who has no leadership qualities IMO. Excellent article and only enforces much of what we already suspected. The quiet man attitude of the manager and the determination of togetherness of the players has put the club in a new light. Hopefully, long may this continue. MALANDRO...............Maybe this article might allay many of your fears for the future. to be honest macca it doesnt allay my fears. we are top and getting promoted. if it was a player cabal that took us there then he didnt kick up. if it was him then well done. which it was ? i don't know. i remember irving nattrass and alan keendey, paul canell and micky burns telling us how much they wanted richard dinniss.
  9. are sheffield utd going to be resting players for monday ? are ours incapable of doing similar ?

    Sunderland...

if anyone cares to peek over for a look....we are involved on 0 threads on their first page. is this a first ?
  11. So you dont rate him as a player? Or is that he's a beer swilling, pie eating, fat b****** that can't play football. Talk about the party line. Not sure what you're on about, for once. just wish everybody would support him rather than slagging him off and And you need to learn the difference between slagging somebody off and suggesting their achievements might not be quite as amazing as is being made out. anyone saying they are amazing ? most are saying they've been as good as could be expected.
  12. its probably because i'm half cut, but that confused the hell out of me leicester away, when keegan first came as manager.......they could have went up (boro did) we could have went down.
  13. a few yeras a go we travelled away to a game, on that day one team could go up, one team could go down, both dependent on other teams aswell. one team in black and white, one in blue and white..................2-1 to the away team. why the fuck not.
  14. two million, three million, four million, four and a half million, four million and six hundred thousand ladies and gentlemen, any advance on........... get me drift ?
  15. Just direct ones i think the alternative is getting a leeds train to doncaster........then rejoining a dry train to newcastle ?
  16. put out the strongest team possible. even if promotion is nailed on the players will want to go up as champions (as do the fans). even in other games its fairer on other teams if we are a strong as possible . it's not like we have a cup final or anything round the corner. if the title is won and we are playing something with nothing to play for then fair enough.
  17. well i've gone quite heavily for us tomorrow (for me that is.....£70) if we win i'll put a fair bit of it on twente. if we dont it'll be a twente/barce double.
  18. Not really Davey as some players say they placed there shots when they scored Shola said himself said it was a hit & hope. the vast majority of goals are hit and hope and opposed to pure placement. I was talking about this goal only but thanks for your input. and i was stating that his admission was nothing out of the ordinary as the majority of goals are hit and hope. and as dave says it means you are saying most goals are flukey as they are hit and hope. lots of football on over the weekend, watch how many times players just hit the ball as hard as they can towards the goal with no plan of top left or whatever.
  19. deffo taking us this weekend but undecided as to an accy or biggish single. I'll do both. Backing us big, a bit smaller at (-1) and taking us into an accy as well. Today I'm very tempted to back WBA big, but on the other side I don't want them to win... just had a look and it looks like us and twente.
  20. Today: Bet 5(£12.48) Fixtures 02 April / Exeter v Colchester / Correct Score 0 - 0 Lay 13 @ 1.04 If successful, looking at WBA. now i see what you're doing. good luck, someone who's more cautious than me.
  21. Yes malandro is entitled to form and express his own opinions of course, but with his kind of approach it begs the question, how much time/patience will Hughton get from the faithful next season should things not get off to the best of starts? We've been crying out a long time for a young ambitious manager who we could give time to build a squad here, and I think Hughton deserves a real go of things the way he has handled himself, Ashley and the players this season. If people with malandro's opinion on Hughton outnumber those who support him, it would worry me more than Hughton's credentials as a PL manager. what makes you think hughton is young and ambitious, or has the ability to build a squad worthy of the club? just interested what makes you think he isn't ? He’s 51 and it took him sixteen years to get his first managerial post? i was thinking more on the ability lines myself, he's done well this season even if it took him a while to dump smith/butt and brought in players for the positions needed.
  22. Definitely. I mean come on, let's not be needlessly pessimistic and modest, it's a case of when rather than if we get promoted, and to do it at home, on the TV, would be great. the only downside, as i've posted earlier is not really having long to celebrate after the game on monday. it could turn out that forest promote us while we are still in the pub.
