  1. just realised forest are live on the box on easter monday directly before.....watch us both win on saturday then forest lose at home to cardiff directly before us.
  2. dont believe a word about that wage cap. do you think if we buy someone for 5mill on 30kpw we wouldnt go 35kpw for a similar player coming in on a free ? what it does mean however is that the days of 80kpw wages are gone as realistically we cant afford them no matter who it is.
  3. wonder if he was still concerned about the recent injury ? Very possibly, worried about putting his foot through it and pulling something. Certainly didn't stop him on his right foot for his goal - Carroll would have checked back. i was thinking more in going flat out and stretching to get beyond jonas.
  4. wonder if he was still concerned about the recent injury ?
  5. its hard to say worst when he was just less very good than normal.
  6. http://www.ourbc.com/travel_bc/bc_cities/yellowhead_hwy/photos/fly_rod_640.jpg seriously he didn't. not fishing. the wide polayer got past him twice though he got back to put a challenge in and put him off (i've never seen anyone get past him twice) and he didnt bomb past jonas much, lots of two and three touches when normally one would have done. in fact i'd say he was slightly below his usual standard.
  7. my two doubles for tonight returned an aggreagate score of 17-1 (shite camburr couldn't keep a clean sheet)
  8. Went down to the toilet at half time and a lad behind me was saying it was a crap match and he was too cold so he was going to go home. there was a lad behind you when you were on the toilet ?
  9. dare i say it...he didn't have one of his better games tonight.
  10. keep away if you ever find an orange cunt.
  11. I don't think he only cares about football, I think he cares about the club. So much so, he can't bear to be away from SJP? Would explain our poor away performances like. Or maybe the players he had to work with had something to do with it? The football I saw today was light years away from the start of the season but maybe Hughton's just massively lucky. 'light years away' It was a good result but let's not brush over the fact we were s*** for the first hour. we werent shit for the first hour. they worked their bollocks off closing down very quick all over which is very hard to keep up, they couldnt keep it up. the extra quality told and we deservedly won.
  12. That's actually not true... but might help prove the point even that no one cares Fair point. I'd completely forgotten they came back up again. That 5-0 is burnt in my brain because it qualified us for the CL on goal difference over Arsenal, in a season when Boro and Sunderland got relegated, and that night I had a friend from Nottingham arriving to stay. forget "in a season" and replace with "on the day".....................fucking fantastic it was.
  13. at first, sitting in the gallowgate i thought it was loven. then when i saw the pile on..."fuck...it was jose!"
  14. I was told it was something to do with sponsorship (or the lack of it when no shirt is on show). I didn't believe it at first but given the way the authorities conduct themselves during a World Cup it wouldn't surprise me. I always assumed it was something to do with time wasting. isnt it just to do with over elabaerate celebrations ?
  15. No. In no way was he party to that article. How was Louise Taylor able to tell us about Taylor's disappointment with the lack of support from the club then? maybe, just maybe he conveyed his feelings to someone else who told loopy lou. His Da? or someone else........ does it really matter. it's just adding to the hatchet job being done on him to protect a player in form. this time last year carroll would probably have been listed. quite disgusting really the way people have certain views about life in general but are prepared to ditch them for football. You are assuming everyone knows what went on or what happened. You might be of the opinion that nothing condones a violent response and you would probably be right but without more details I wouldn't cast aspersions on how the club are dealing with it. i've repeatedly posted lots of IF's in this thread and stated on more than one occasion that i'm doing it. Ok, but how you can find something disgusting without knowing IF there's been a hatchet job on Taylor I find a bit odd. many on here will let him off with it even if he is at fault because he is in form....... and yes, i find that disgusting.
  16. I still don't think he's that good, I reckon his limitations will be more exposed in the premier. However if he genuinely wants to stay on a realistic wage I'd be happy to keep him. Otherwise £8m would do nicely. that goes for the whole squad.

  18. and we think it's small time when away fans come on here to bait us.
  19. wasn't nolans goal onside aswell ? i think. not 100% sure.

  22. i predict a net spend of around 12million.
  23. and you'd get done for it. i actually doubt you would go for him, i've seen it often enough and it normally stays a battle of insults. i know i'd get done for it. but if its something persistant despite your best efforts to ignore it, its only human to snap. punching someone doesnt mean you're trying to break their jaw. clearly woudnt be such a big deal if had just been bruising. again who knows what went one, makes it impossible to judge. any evdence that it was persistent ? as many have pointed out we dont have too mnay details as to what went on which is why i'm saying IF carroll is found to be the aggressor. however if the report is true they were sharing an icebath then i doubt it would have been persistent.
