  1. Some of them are talking up Darren Gibson now.
  2. You don't know where to fit in Nolan, our top scorer and one of the best scorers in the PL this season, yet you do know that he won't be playing if Cabaye, a player that you've never seen play for us, and Gosling, a player of that we don't even know if he can still run, will be ahead of him? I'm sorry, have I upset you or something? I think it's a question worth asking. I seriously doubt Cabaye will be bought to sit on the bench and before his injury Gosling played in a very similar way to Nolan. More competition means more chance Nolan will lose his place, especially as he has a habit of drifting out of games when he's not scoring.
  3. I'm a huge Nolan fan and I think his impact in the dressing room means any transfer will be bad news for us but from a purely footballing point of view I'm struggling to think where he'll fit in next season if Cabaye signs, especially if Gosling gets fit too. Oh, and Parker was shite. We were well rid of him.
  4. AC was shite for Preston. He was poor in the 1st half the Championship season as he was scud like but then the 2nd half the season his shots on target improved dramatically & along came the goals. He transformed from average Champo centre forward to £35 million superstar in the space of the Doncaster game last season. Missed an absolute sitter (on a par with Ranger versus WHU) a few minutes before he went all Marco Van Basten

  6. Only two - myself and someone else.
  7. If he wanted five years I'm behind the club on this one, although I'm not entirely convinced his situation as is terminal as Barton's is because he's got that extra year to run on his deal. If he does piss off we'll struggle to find a player who can match his goals and leadership ability.
  8. It's a difficult decision if it's one or the other. Gameiro plays in a position where we desperately need more quality, but he strikes me as a player who could crash and burn in the Premier League. Gervinho on the other hand could play at pretty much any level but isn't an out and out goalscorer. Who we get if any will probably be taken out of our hands though.
  9. Her mouths like a vandalised graveyard She's the lovechild of David Craig and Beth Tweddle.
  10. Was it Everton who uploaded an article about signing Riquelme as a test and got everyone needlessly excited?
  11. Proves nowt. I'm followed by George Caulkin yet my tweets are utter fucking garbage.
  12. Something must have happened which has forced the clubs hand. We knew he was an arsehole when we gave him a five year deal.
  13. On the left wing with a new five year contract, where he should be.
  14. He's not crap, but he's a wanker and this wankerishness is really going to hamper his chances of fulfilling his potential.
  15. you know something they don't ? No, i'm just pointing out that NOTW is a rag of a newspaper and they spout rubbish. and so do we. We don't get paid for it surely that makes us the mugs ? Speak for yourself.
  16. The 'quotes' from RTG that were posted a while back about Nolan in Benidorm. I haven't see the story but I seriously doubt they lifted potentially mythical quotes from a football message board and used it as the basis for a story if that's what you're suggesting. People tend to get lawyers involved when newspapers do that.
  17. or maybe NOTW reporters (Arsenal fans) want to put the story out to put doubt in Gervinho's mind Is he a subscriber, like? I'm not but I still heard about it. He probably has a bit more on his plate than you. Nee offence.
  18. or maybe NOTW reporters (Arsenal fans) want to put the story out to put doubt in Gervinho's mind Is he a subscriber, like?
  19. Apparently the Nolan story is in the NotW too, complete with quotes from the man himself.
  20. James Perch wasn't even good at Championship level. If we're still hunting for an Enrique replacement too this is a good deal. £1 million for a young, versatile player.
  21. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Kevin-Nolan-considering-Newcastle-future-after-contract-snub-article744289.html The Mirror gasumping Mark Douglas?
  22. would be a hell of a shock Understatement. Shit and riddled with personal problems.
  23. in a newcastle leaning paper appealing to newcastle fans.....i doubt he'd use "good" to describe an outgoing. He clearly meant good as in it's a cracking piece of journalism. he could mean that, it's anything but clear. It's as clear as clear can be. You could smother it in Ajax and buff it with chamois leather and it couldn't be anymore clear.
