The average supporter seems to be swallowing his PR bullshit. Only explanation. Or the few hundred users on N-O are not an accurate representation of Newcastle fan opinion? This is the only place I visit where there is this type of venomous anti-Pardew rhetoric. Most seem happy to give him a second chance.

He doesn't react well under pressure and reverts to really, really negative football. The amount of times we went 1-0 up and sacrificed the lead because of his tactics/changes is staggering, especially considering it's relatively a recent phenomenon with him. The year before last we wouldn't come out from half time looking scared shitless, he seemed to talk some confidence in the team. When we beat Stoke at their place Ba said at half time he told them to keep playing their game because even if they scored he knew we'd get a third. This season we've played like he's shouted "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T FUCK THIS UP!" at them for 15 minutes.
-
I wanted him gone but if he's staying he'll get my backing. He needs to rediscover whatever it was he had in those first 18 months, when we looked incredibly well drilled and seemed to come out for every match with a game plan. I don't care if the football's crap as long as we win. We need some new blood both on the coaching side of things and in the playing squad.

Plus Ferguson actually had the trophies to justify his disciplinarian streak. Di Canio is a League 1 manager.

Because he's massively overrated and actually did worse at Wigan than Steve Bruce?
-
Throw into the mix a few players who might now decide to take a cut in pay to get away from the manager & they could be in for a very painful summer. It'll all be sweetness and light over the intervening months but once the season starts if they struggle there'll be hell on.
-
Sunderland and Di Canio aren't big enough to be able to get away with shit like this. Any player with any pedigree they go in for this summer would tell their agent to make sure they got more than the going rate anyway since they're naturally quite reticent to moving to the NE. When you consider they've got a right wing nutter who will cancel their holidays and fine them huge sums for any perceived indiscretion then they're going to have to chuck obscene sums at players to convince them to consider SAFC.

Moment Of The Match - (Goals Aside)
David Icke - Son of God replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
That not Tiote? I sit in the East stand and in the first half he took a cross in his midriff from close range. Made a really loud thud, as if he was made of concrete. I'm certain it was Tiote. -
I voted for Cisse before I realised the poll was a piss take.

Motives matter. No one knows anything about his motives. He's always throwing rather generous bonuses in the direction of SD staff. This is no different. It's how he operates. Let's just chill the fuck out.

Same spiel every window. Expect the phrase "sovereign nation" to be used soon.

All was rosy until their serious fall out early season. Santon's never been the same since he was brained with a pizza box.

#ColosParty the number one trending topic in the UK Luke Edwards currently have a meltdown on Twitter because it's doesn't chime with his "oh noes the playaz all h8 each otha" line

We're not going down that route are we? Why would the club have anything to do with some spotty Herbert work placement on a subsection of another companies website? Sports Direct News produces it's own content. You'd think they writers are under pretty strict instructions about what they can publish about NUFC considering their boss owns the club. Not suggesting for one minute I believe it, far from it (I think it's trash) but it just seems mental the site would publish such a story and the club would deny it so quickly.
-
Rubbish according to the club. So the website owned by Mike Ashley makes up and publishes a story that is immediately poo-pooed by the club that is also owned by Mike Ashley. The right arm doesn't know what the left arm is doing.

What integrity?
