  1. There hasn't been an inter-forum bickering sesh since about 2004. Too long. Kick one off Wullie. Go on. Go over there and call someone a fucking spenk.
  2. I think he's incapable of learning from his mistakes because he keeps repeating them.
  3. I think Happy Face is bang on, and I'm in the "Pardew oot!" camp. This thread's an absolute clusterfuck now. It's the same excitable nutters reiterating the same bloody points (some of which are valid, some of which are petty). It's virtually unreadable.
  4. Arrested on suspicion of rape.
  5. They should've went down for that alone. http://i.imgur.com/Jgg5zDY.gif
  6. I'll stay, simply because I think it's a bit flouncy to walk out. It's probably the last time we'll see Colo in an NUFC strip, so I'd like to give him a decent send off.
  7. Ashley put the club up for sale as a result of the protests. The only buyers seemed to be a Nigerian, a bald lunatic and someone who couldn't actually afford it. http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00861/bARRY_mOAT_380x223_861809a.jpg Ah, Barry
  8. Debatable. If you want a manager who underachieves and plays boring, direct football we should just stick with the one we've got and save the compensation.
  9. I can't believe some people would genuinely like to replace Pardew with Jol. Fulham aren't even safe yet.
  10. are there actually any good ideas to achieve what the OP wants? No.
  11. A protest? http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/computer-close-hulk.gif
  12. I thought Gouffran had his best game for us today, hardly surprising considering we actually played him up front rather in that fucking no man's land on the wing that Pardew usually asks him to occupy.
  13. That's the only fan account I can tolerate pretty much all the time. Doesn't take himself too seriously.
  14. The "Ben Arfa's fat" stuff is just getting fucking silly now. He came back looking bulkier, he's not fucking clinically obese. Anyway, how active do people expect him to be when he's laid low with a serious hamstring injury? How can he do any cardio?
  15. just think pardew's been a bit soft on him letting him go back to clairefontaine for rehab I don't think it's a huge issue really. They know him there, there'll be doctors he's worked with since he was a kid, it's where he went after his leg break. If anything it makes more sense to send him there than keep him here. Also probably helps keep him happy, which is a good thing. He might be one of those players, like Cantona, where you can't afford to follow all the normal rules. Just really needs a proper pre-season to get fit and ready. Where did this idea of letting highly paid professional footballers go to their home country to recover from injury come from? Ben Arfa and Coloccini allowed to piss off for extended holidays whilst still getting paid amazed me. If that's how we are keeping our players happy there's no hope. Does this mean that whenever a member of our foreign legion fancy an extended holiday at home, they can just pick up an injury, or worse, feign one, and the club will let them swan off to "recuperate"? What other club allows its players to do that? Did Ferguson? The video of Coloccini jumping up and down at a football match in Argentina with a supposed "broken back" made me laugh, only topped by Pardew's comments extolling Coloccini's "professionalism", and then trying to convince us that Ben Arfa works hard at Clairfontaine only for him to come back looking like a pudding. Pardew's "man management" is just as dubious as his team selections and tactics, and, imo, doesn't foster a hard working, professional team ethos. The Coloccini decision was clearly made to try and butter him up, but why the fuss over the HBA one? Why are we against sending our player to one of the foremost training academies in the world to recover from his injuries, a place where they've dealt with every bump, scrape and strain he's suffered from since he was a kid? Or would you rather he stayed on Tyneside with our fantastic physios? I'm sure the club have the ability to check whether players are feigning injury. Coloccini was probably sent down to the Nuffield for an x-ray or two before deciding whether he was available for selection. We're not that much of a soft touch. I'm also certain this is club policy and has nowt to do with Pardew.
  16. If it helps I think you're all a bunch of stupid bastards regardless of whether you support Pardew or not.
  17. Let's not be silly, it detracts from the serious discussion that sometimes threatens to breakout.
  18. Jol or Martinez would be the very definition of a sideways step. Jol wouldn't be a sideways step from Pardew like, no chance. He would. Plays dour, long ball football, his teams are prone to collapse and loves a midfield clogger. Gosling would get game time like, so every cloud. I disagree, I think his Spurs team played good stuff and Fulham aren't bad to watch either. Did a terrific job at Spurs after they'd been a midtable side as long as I could remember. He's streets ahead of Pardew in terms of playing style and achievements, it would be far from a sideways step to bring him in. Fulham play the second highest number of long balls in the league (guess who's first?). I've watched them a few times this season and they're dire, no more exciting than ourselves or Stoke in spite of the combined genius of Berbatov and Ruiz. They could still go down too. I don't know which Fulham you've watched. Pardew's shit, but if we're going to sack him let's set our sights a little higher than Jol.

  22. Ashley's track record suggest he has an itchy trigger finger.
