That may be true, but the fact it is a World Cup year the likes of Cabaye, Ben Arfa, MYM, Debuchy etc. may have other outside influences dictating that a year in the Championship may be adverse to them getting picked for the squad.

Don't think that there will be any need for a fire sale this time around, but can't see many of our international players wanting to hang around in the lower leagues even just for a season in the run up to a World Cup.
