  1. Only if his spirit is being channeled by Derek Acorah.
  2. Has a point. It's a pitiful one though. You don't even need to start the argument about whether the Spurs squad is better than last year (no Modric and VDV, Kaboul out all season, Sandro out for months, Dempsey playing - although obviously we've bought some goodies), you just need to point out that we're probably going to finish with at least the same number of points, whilst being up against a vastly improved Liverpool, a better Everton, and a Chelsea that yet again spent a gazillion pounds. And a media that was desperate for AVB to fail at the beginning of the season. Quite apart from the fact that 'arry's a bit of a twat. Pretty much spot on there on your summary of your lot there. And Redknapp.
  3. It won't be if things are going fine. If things start going tits up though then having him at the club will put the new manager and his position at the club under pressure from the media and the fans as there is a ready made replacement alreay there. Please refer to the case of KK Kenny vs Woy Hodgson for recent precident.
  4. Didn't expect that. Bet Chelsea are running round like idiots right now making sure they get Mourinho in first. As much as I hate Man Ure I would love to see Abramovic's smug, smirky face if they've sneaked in and pinched him under the radar.
  5. 48hrs? Next manager must already be out of a job then. It's Mark Hughes. Get in!
  6. Would make a difference for it to be him to not be on the receiving end at least. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-481314/Sir-Alex-Ferguson-punched-groin-attack-fighting-drunk-rail-station.html
  7. I'd be fucking delighted to see him mismanaging Man Utd. They can have all the backroom staff as well if they wan't.
  8. Hopefully! Can't see it toppling them from the top unfortunately, but it is a brave man who takes over. Don't win it with Taggart's players and he's a failure. Win it with Taggart's players and it's his legacy that's won it. Change things around and win nowt and he's destroyed them and is out the door. I like the sound of the latter. Having him hanging around the club is a great idea. A bit like KK Kenny hanging around at Liverpool when Hodgson was manager. Horrible man, horrible club and horrible 'fans'. A perfect match. Good riddance. Still, I'll miss his nose. The litmus paper for how badly a result was going for them.
  9. Hopefully its Pardew who is gone and not him, personally i would rather wait and see how these players do under someone who has a clue than sell them. That goes for Tiote too believe it or not. Got to agree with that. With regard to Tiote, we all know that there is a decent player in there but he's one of the group that has been hit hardest by the 'coaching' at this club IMHO. Get him under a decent manager with decent coaches, tell him to win the ball and keep it simple and we may be talking about him the way we were a couple of years ago.
  10. He'd better hurry up - there are rumours of Peter Odemwingie being seen in the vicinity of Old Trafford car park.
  11. Fucking Jeebus, that was the most terrifying last 15 minutes of football I've never watched in my life. Absolutely massive result for us, keeps us out of the bottom 3. Hopefully we won't be thinking about just a point at the weekend now though.
  12. THAT'S US AND THE MACKEMS LOLLL Nah, this is us and the mackems this season... http://i44.tinypic.com/fe46xc.gif
  13. I actually hate him more than Souness, and since I put the blame on him for everything from JFK, global warming and the last ice age (not the film) that's quite a fucking acheivement.
  14. http://i40.tinypic.com/f2q7nb.jpg Edit: Double Cliche' tastic!
  15. Villa will be up for it at home. Luckily it's a Wigan then. and Villa will do a WBA / Swansea on us anyway.
  16. Looking good to fuck us over again this weekend as well. Just more proof that every team doesn't 'play the same team twice' - these fuckers played like thier lives depended on it when they've played us. They've rolled over and taken it up the arse over the past few days. Cunts.
  17. As soon as I heard that I happened I thought of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXBj6J2zrGE 'Mongo, Santa Maria!'
  18. I thought this was a prediction for next years' league table at first. Never thought of looking that high up for us.
  19. That may be true, but the fact it is a World Cup year the likes of Cabaye, Ben Arfa, MYM, Debuchy etc. may have other outside influences dictating that a year in the Championship may be adverse to them getting picked for the squad.
  20. Don't think that there will be any need for a fire sale this time around, but can't see many of our international players wanting to hang around in the lower leagues even just for a season in the run up to a World Cup.
  21. Surely there's some mistake Jonas isn't playing. Oh, wait you're going for a Pardew-free team selection.
  22. He's been gutless - his head is elsewhere in my opinion. Clearly doesn't want to be here and has been a critic of Pardew's style for a long time. He's on holiday. I've been saying for a while that he reminds me of the gutless way that Owen played in the last relegation season. Has his mind set on the exit door at the end of the season and isn't going to put himself about in any way to physically jeapordise that.
