  3. If we qualify for the champions league I reckon it'd be a long time before any team that's been relegated from the premier league does that again. Like of Blackburn go down I think they'd be the only team ever to win the premier league and get relegated from it.

  5. Bolton accidentally extend Steinsson's contract by 18,002 years Friday 20 April 2012 09:45 The Trotters have made a bit of a boo-boo, Back of the Net's John Foster takes up the story... Bolton Wanderers’ fiscal prudence will come under scrutiny after a clerical error saw Gretar Steinsson’s contract extended by over eighteen thousand years, to 20014. According to the player's spokesman, a typographical error by Bolton chairman Phil Gartside will see the 30-year old earn £13,000 a week for the next 936,104 weeks, plus appearance bonuses. “Obviously I’m happy with the new deal,” Steinsson told reporters. “At first the club only wanted to offer a one-year extension, so I’m delighted they’ve relented and given me the full eighteen thousand.” The Icelandic right-back also confirmed that he expected to finish his career at the Reebok Stadium. “I think I’ll probably retire when this deal’s up,” he told reporters. “After all, I’ll be 18,032 years old by then, which is a good age to hang up your boots and maybe think about going into coaching.” An ashen-faced Gartside admitted he had not intended to tie Steinsson to the club for over eighteen millenia, but added that he was determined to make the best of the situation. “[The contract] may seem a bit on the lengthy side, but a lot can happen in eighteen thousand years,” he told FourFourTwo.com. “Eighteen thousand years ago, for example, who’d have thought that the land bridge between Asia and Alaska wouldn’t exist today, or that humans would successfully domesticate the wolf? I’m confident Gretar’s experience will be a great asset for this club, especially for our younger players, over the next one hundred and eighty centuries.” “Besides,” Gartside added, “as the saying goes, eighteen thousand years is a long time in football.” This is not the first time a Premier League club has erred in its contract negotiations. In 1998, a computer malfunction led to Sheffield Wednesday paying Wim Jonk £8,888,888,888 a day for the duration of his two-year deal. Similarly, in 2002, confusion over the correct exchange rate of the newly-launched Euro saw Massimo Maccarone move from Empoli to Middlesbrough for £15.5 billion, a fee most fans believe he struggled to live up to.

This is the club who, when they were hosting the champions, had a pipe split, dousing the away dressing room in shit.
  7. http://u.goal.com/169200/169236hp2.jpg thicker/thinner either side of the spike Not seen those spikes used in other Puma kits before. It's going to be this, isn't it
  8. MS Paint skillz alert. Looks to me like the stripe under the northern rock pink dot goes like this http://i.imgur.com/z7yQZ.jpg And the one on the top left goes like this http://i.imgur.com/n8RDb.jpg There's definite changes in the thickness/position of the stripes around the spikes. Could anyone make a mock up with that incorporated?

Might be the way it's hanging, but it looks like the white stripe above the 'spike' is thicker.
  10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-17767236 A 17-year-old Norwich City fan has angered the club by leaking pictures of its new kit 12 hours before the official launch. Norfolk Police were called in after IT student Chris Brown published images of the 2012-13 strip on the internet.

  13. Chelsea are going to do well enough to give Di Matteo the job, his honeymoon period will expire, they'll have the nagging doubt that they would be doing better if they'd got a big name in (which may or may not be the case) tread water for a while with an axe hanging over him and then they're back to square one. You heard it here first.

Love their attitude towards Europe now, shit compeition where you only play eastern european teams no-one has heard of and means we'll struggle in the league because of the extra games. Bet they'd be so gutted if they'd qualified like
  16. Must be crazy being a Wigan fan, almost every season they look regligation certs at one point and then they pull crazy shit like this out of the bag. Must be frustrating thinking what they could do if they put this much effort in for the whole season though!
  17. Definitely going to go to a European away match, really enjoyed Frankfurt. Fingers crossed we get a game against Roma or someone and I don't end up having to go to the Ukraine or somewhere.
  18. At this rate we'll be the only team in the top 8 not in Europe.

  25. Because this season it's worked out by a souless stat machine made by those idots at EA games. It probably saw the diagram for Ben Arfa's run and thought he was using a Game Genie.
